What happens to Kenn if you let Ben die?

If you let Ben fall to his death in the bell tower then Kenny wouldn't need to try and save him or fight to the death for him in episode 5. What happens to him cause I'm assuming he dies another way then.

    He drops a walkie talkie into a house, Christa goes to get it, walkers are in there, Kenny jumps in to get her out. Only one comes back.

    In the hole where you see walkers Kenny bumps Lee and makes him drop the Walkie.

    Christa goes to get it, can't get back up. Walkers are now going towards her.

    Kenny jumps down, hoists Christa up, gets killed.
