I think everyone agree with me that we don't need a better graphic or gameplay we just need it faster as soon as possible
In the next 3 months Episode1 from season 2 should come out

We're just seek to continue story

What the fuck men... shut up.

Sort of a pointless poll, but yeah I agree.

I personally think it'll likely come out April 2013, around the same time that Season 1 was released.

I'd want more spread out gameplay if you ask me.
  • edited November 2012
I agree that the graphics are fine as is, but I do think they should work more on the gameplay.
  • edited November 2012
I don't think graphics or gameplay are a problem, but bugs certainly on. The telltale engine is starting to show it can't handle these games and they need to upgrade.

Also, 3 months? Telltale have 2 other games to work on. I'd like it if they got at least one of those out before we hear about Season 2(and sam and max 4 please :p)

Telltale should just work on The Walking Dead not other games

I disagree. They should work on something else. I would not buy a second season of TWD. Don't get me wrong. The episodes were great but I don't need any more of it. Especially after the disappointing end.
I wanted them all to die a horrible death. Especialy #ForClementine.
The game was ending kinda perfect but
they just had to use the bit after the credits.

Dear god no! Do you realize how old that would get? Not to mention how giant of a middle finger that would be to the rest of their fans? Like I loved this game, GOTY and all that, but this is NOT what they should be doing 24/7.

This already took too long. We could be at least half way through Fables by now.

    I want fewer bugs.

TAKE AS MUCH TIME AS YOU NEED, TTG.
  • edited November 2012
    No no no.

They shouldn't rush a sequel. It needs to live up to the first game. I'd rather they take their time and release a polished, well written story, than something that feels rushed just because a few people are too impatient.

Take your time! make till 1 episode can last for 5 hour+ and wont get bored
  • edited November 2012
Neither. I want them to take their time and release a game that isn't game breakingly buggy. Better graphics would only mean longer delays

I hope you do know that Fables is next, right? How about King's Quest? If we don't get S+M season 4 people are going to be pissed. Season 2 of The Walking Dead isn't going to come anytime soon.

Fables has been confirmed as Telltale's next game, which means the earliest Season Two could possibly come is June-ish. Given that Activision's Walking Dead game is coming next fall, Telltale's probably not going to want to release that soon. My guess is two, possibly three games will be made before another Walking Dead: Fables, probably King's Quest, and either BttF, S&M, or ToMI if Disney decides it wants Lucasarts to start licensing again.

Heh, I read that as 4 people will be pissed if we don't get another S&M season.:p

I hate leading polls. I want Telltale to take the time to plan out next season and make sure the story is as good or better than this one. I don't get the impatience some people have with the release schedule of this series.

Quality over quantity, or speed, depending on your viewpoint. I hope they take their time to make it how they want it to be.

I rather them take there time say work on 3 of the 5 episodes first so they can be one a month. However I am OK with what they did for season 1 since I just played other games in between.

I play using a mac and downloaded it through Steam. I have issues with moving my cursor around sometimes. It gets stuck on certain things until I pause the game and I can move my cursor freely. Usually if I'm doing a quick time event I have to keep pausing and move my cursor close to the target so I can quickly act in time.

better controls. more puzzles, more combining items.

I mean really, just how many bullets have they used over the course of the 5 episodes, without going back and counting, i would say maybe 200+. its a bit silly.

I would imagine that Macgyvering would have been more of a part, making and combining and crafting stuff to protect you from bites, making melee weapons.

Defences at the places where you stay. i think that would have added to the atmosphere, gameplay and would have made game last even longer.

Why not strive to make a better game (as amazing as TWD was)? If TellTale pumps out another Walking Dead game so soon, franchise fatigue can easily happen. So, no, TellTale does not need to rush out more Walking Dead episodes. Take their time. I can wait.

Someone told me around July 6th is when its suppost to come out

You can't rush a good story. So, no, I do not want Season 2 to come out ASAP.

The current graphics were fine but I would love to see some gameplay improvement.
  • edited November 2012
I want them to take as much time as they need. Work all the kinks out for the next season. Testing and polishing should be a higher priority.

Kinda looking forward to some of their other titles. While TWD was awesome, it'd be nice to have a break from the brutality and melancholy of it's universe.

They should definitely take their time with season 2. One: because they have a lot of other series to catch up on, and two: while I love this game to death, it does have it's issues.

There are quite a few bugs in the games, including the deadly save erasing bug. The game looks great artistically IMO but character movements can be a bit wonky at times methinks, and while it's a very annoyingly common complaint, I do feel that the choices you make could have a bit more of a noticeable impact. Notably the group dynamic in the beginning of episode 5. It was very short lived and really didn't matter at all after like, twenty minutes.

Anyways, before I nitpick myself to exhaustion, my point is that this series has room to improve and if I have 2-3 years longer to get a final product that will blow me away even more than this already has, I'll take it.

*Crossing fingers for more Monkey Island*

I disagree with both options: I want them to take as long as they want because I want a better story, not because of Gameplay or Graphics. I mean seriously, the more time they take to release the episode the better the story becomes.
