It's obvious who the shadows REALLY were. MAJOR SPOILERS!!!

edited November 2012 in The Walking Dead
The shadows were obviously Marty and Doc. Telltale ended Back to the Future on a cliffhanger and said there would be a season two but didn't. It was also their most successful title until TWD. Only obvious that there would be a crossover as they crossed dimensions by time traveling too much. Besides, why else would that car be shown near Clementine in the ending? They made it look different so the shadows wouldn't be so easy to figure out.

If not them, then Lee and Kenny, I have a feeling if you cut off Lee's arm and left him to die, he survives as he was just unconscious. If you left his arm then Lee wakes up and chops it off with the cleaver he had or the broken glass from the vase. Even if you handcuffed him, his bad arm was not handcuffed. He will use it to free his other arm. If he has one arm only and cuffed then Kenny will come and save the day again by freeing him.

If you had Clementine shoot him she probably missed and only grazed his head just like when B.J. shot Chase and he survived by a graze in the Walking Dead webisode mini-series "Cold Storage". Makes perfect sense why Clementine would look so shocked at the epilogue.

Another likely possibility is Campman's son and Guybrush Threepwood. Telltale would make him a cameo appearance with Campman's son and he will shoot Guybrush at the very beginning of season two and try to kidnap/kill/eat/molest Clementine. Just like how Campman's son betrayed his parents, he would betray his survivor.

If none of those are right, only then we can say that the preposterous idea of Omid and Christa are the two shadows.

    I tink you ere wright.

Wow seriously, why is Omid and Christa even an option?
    It's so unlikely.
  • edited November 2012
if clementine gets molested i feel like it would be too graphic or physically sickening to watch and it wouldnt be sold on xbla or psn. Lee is dead or undead so he isnt coming back, always got the possibility of kenny or molly returning to save or protect her. Hoping she finds christa and omid to protect her.

It's definitely Lee and Kenny. They were just hiding and sleeping!

but theres a bullet in my lee's head so he wont be there. I prefer to see molly and kenny coming over the hill since there both determined/unknown.

no clementine missed and only grazed him.

plus it can't be molly she stole doc's car in an attempt to catch up to vernon's boat but ended up in the future where she died instantaneously since in that time she changed history and that ended up having herself die.

if its a crossover from back to the future id rather see them go back and stop lee's bite.

It's Carley and Doug, the only two known survivors except for Larry.

What was this thread made for again...?

some joke about a crossover with back to the future's marty mcfly and doc brown who are the shadows on the ending of season 1. While i think if they did it right it would be amazing but they gotta go back to save lee.

Here in 2012 they can get some plutonium for the flux capaciter and take the Deloreon to before they go to the St. Johns. No one goes, the bandits never raid, everyone lives. Marty and Doc go back to 1986 knowing there will be a Za and ruin the space time continuim. This is gonna be awesome.

exactly see since when did telltale make a sad game? Never! All their games were funny so they didn't want the walking dead to stay sad and made the season two funny for more people to buy it.

There should be a 'zombies' option.

    How are they traitors?

If you didn't show them the bite, their true feelings are revealed. They won't join you because they don't trust you. That means they still don't trust you episode 5 and think you probably became a walker and bit clem.

If you hid the bite you are the traitor, not them, and they had a right not to trust you.

Pretty sure it was actually Abraham Lincoln. He's already a zombie, as Sam & Max showed.

Maybe, but then who was the second person? And actually lincoln turned into a gold statue remember? In season three.

And it can't be Sam and Max because let's be realistic here there can't be a talking dog and talking rabbit in the real world where the walking dead takes place plus they had different body sizes as well. It is too unrealistic if Sam and Max were the shadows.

I think after showing them the bite they finally start to trust you. Given the circumstances however, Lee is going to die and will become a huge threat. They followed me all the way til the end. Even if they don't trust Lee it doesn't mean they would give up on Clem like that.

Why would they still be with me if they didn't trust me?

When I first seen the shadows I thought zombies, especially with the horrified look on Clems face.

they don't know you got bit. They don't trust you because they think you'll leave on the boat with Clem, Kenny, and Ben filling up the capacity of five people on the boat. (Christa wouldn't leave without Omid and vice versa.)

to save clem, but gave up when they got split up and lee went alone. that was their chance to abandon lee and they took it. they probably thought clementine will die by either campman or lee as a walker.

But byhiding your bite you warranted their distrust.

I never really took them for the kind of people to just assume that kind of thing. Especially with all the stuff you went through with them in the last little while. I definitely think that they waited at that spot for at least as long as they could for Clem. Whether or not it happened is still up for debate at this point.

You lied to them straight up about the bite. Serves you right to not have there trust. That's the last time I say it.

Well I saved Omid's life and she still treated me like crap. How's that not having trust in me? See? She's a traitor. No different from Vernon. They use you, and then shove a pitchfork up your ass, to leave without Clementine.

more believable than a talking dog/rabbit.

I did that too but I don't remember her getting mad? Omid said I should have saved her but I figured she would make it since Omid was hurt.

Yea I don't think I'd want you in my group when the apocalypse hits. :P

If I'm not mistaken you told them to go! Well I don't know what you did, but in my playthrough she was nicce as I was always honest. If you weren't, face the consequences.

if you saved her first, she's all like "why did you save me i will never forgive you!"

also, by saving omid i meant when he was ill with the injured leg.
