Season 1 ending and season 2; my thought
So first of all, i am not english so expect some spelling and grammar problems.
try to make the best of it.
BTW: SPOILERS!
Pesonaly i had quite a depressed feeling at the end (after the credits) BUT it made me want to play season 2 as soon as posible, to be honest i play a lot of cracked games.. but the walking dead is just worth the money to support the creators!
right new people are left with some questions like two big ones:
Where are crista and omid?
and
Why did clem not meet them at the train?
well first of; this is what i think is wat happend:
As you know a LOT of zombies(walkers) came into the city from the traintracks and probably not all of the zombies(walkers) entered the city but sticked around the train, witch would make it hard for crista and omid to wait there for clam.
so they have to find a saver place.
Wen clam comes near the train she sees a lot of zombies(walkers) around it witch would cause clam to also needing to leave and wait it out.
So getting to the ending of season 1 here:
Clam left alone walking with the gun in hear hand over the field, resting out for a moment and seeing two shadows in the distance walking and than notecing hear (you can see them stop and watch hear direction).
Why i think its crista and omid; well telltalegames is a good company and know how to make games and leaving the story open is just not how it works.
Also as you might see; the left shadow looks like a woman and the right like an man, also the woman has very lose clothing like crista (its not a dress because you can see air betwean hear legs (sounds odd i know))
Also crista and omid care about clem like everyone, so they will search for her (at walking distance) and because they left early they are farder away than clem.
again if the walking dead S2 would start a new story without the firstone ending it would not make.. just.. no sense why they would do that.
Season 2 would probably starting of like the episode: Starved for help,
further in the story with crista omid and clam (I HOPE!!) and will explain the past like they did before, interacting with people telling them the past in a surthend way that it makes sense.
if you have any more questions or thing that hang on to your mind about the game (ending) tell me, i might make a good theory for you.
Sorry for any bad english and i hope telltalegames sees this post (would be awesome!)

It's really odd though how Clem could find her way out of town without dying! She must have been really good!
Otherwise the ending is just so freaking sad. Lee which has been saving her and taking care of her dies and she's left all alone
Anyway- Game of the year!! Just reading how everybody gets involved in this game makes it so special!
That said I'm fine with finding out what happened to them in the next game through notes, people you meet or even video. I suppose they could have you meet up with Clem, Christa or Omid but I don't think that's necessary. The Walking Dead Game to me was Lee's story and it's over. I'd love to find out what happened to Clementine and the rest but I don't like having them be protagonists in the new story. Hell, why not have the game set on the west coast this time? Maybe even not in the US but I haven't read the comics and stopped watching the show so I don't know much of the lore.
Having it set on the west coast is a neat idea. Sort of the flipside to what they did with Fallout 3, moving the action from west to east, so there wasn't so much trouble dealing with people and locations from the prior games.
Where I'm at in the comics and TV series, everything has taken place on the east coast, mostly in Georgia. I'd like to know what's happening everywhere else.
Clem will remember that... that message when told who to go with or what to do once you are dead, makes it pretty clear to me, but also the fact, that she will remember it so it may come up as a choice without you being able to make a different one, makes me think she may not be the main character.
So my guess is it's going to be a new character and that you will find the three survivors along the story, maybe even Kenny...
That or you play as Clem, we'll see ^^
