Releasing as episode: very clever strategy

edited November 2012 in The Walking Dead
The connection between the player and characters are stronger this way.

For example, Lee, Kenny, Ben and Clem were in my thought process for the last 3-4 months. It's not that they were Gods or something like that.

Pratically, all of them lived in my head for the past 3-4 months but it would be a whole lot different if I bought the complete version of the game and played till the end in 2 days.

I second that - your connection with the story and characters feel stronger when you've been with them for so long.

Yes, its makes you at the start of each episode, believe that time have passed, and you had bonded with the characters more.

    I say yes, and no.

While it can strengthen the bonds, it can also weaken your attachment to the game if you're not that into it or something goes wrong that you didn't like.

    A double edged blade.

Yeah, I thought that having these characters for months on end gives you a more "attachment" to the game. But there were delays, remember?
