I guess that's why it's called No Time Left :D

ha sorry bout that, I was actually thinking the same thing xD

I wondered that too. I even said "Don't forget the watch" out loud. Glad I kept the arm in my first play.

What would he need a watch for? :p
  • edited November 2012
why not? he didn't need it. Not like he has anywhere to go to anyway.

I wouldnt want a watch to remind me that the rest of my life could be counted in mere hours... :(

Well he did just have his arm cut off and they were trying to escape Walkers, doubt anyone wanted to stop and take the watch off his decapitated still warm limb would be the last of his concern. Chances it's battery must have died out too or it's been broken in a struggle at some point over the months he's had it so he's probably never really cared for taking it off or checking the time since you wouldn't need to in a zombie apocalypse either :L

When you are about to die... time is probably the last thing you are going to look at. Plus I guess with "No Time Left" who needs a watch?

Should've kept the watch just to give to Clem. Kind of like the hat her dad gave her. Something to always remember him by.

she will need the watch? really? how about the gun she used to kill/spare lee's life with? Sounds better that way and would make sense why she kept it for so long.

He gave her a gun, far more practical. :p

I never said she would need the watch and the dead cop/guard gave her the gun. I was saying she knows its Lees watch. It would be a personal keepsake, a memento, something to remember him by. Something she can look at and know its his. A piece of him to keep close to her.

    Oh yeah, I forgot that wasn't Carley's plot-gun.

Of course, why did it matter? He just chopped off his arm. The pain that he had mattered the most above all else.

So you'd think it would be natural for Lee, right after cutting off his arm, to take a WATCH off his severed arm and then ask someone to help him put it on? That would have just been weird and completely unnecessary.

Actually his watch WAS working. At the start of Ep4, when the bell goes off, the group discovers it's not on a timer when Lee looks at his watch and tells them it's 20 past the hour. Plus, that watch was awesome.
  • edited November 2012
Well, Lee's too proud to have someone put the watch on for him, and... well... the one handed thing....

I'm actually shocked some people believe the first reaction someone would have following getting amputated following their pseudo-daughter being kidnapped would be "oh, gotta get my watch!"

Unless this is a joke thread. Please tell me this is a joke thread.

    No, that's not logical.

the most logical thing to concern your self with after losing your left hand in a attempt to buy mere hours of your life is to put your watch back on.

you never know when knowing if it is 5 o clock or 4 o clock will save your life. Because no one can look at the sky and see when the earth will rotate out of the sun's range.

    *sigh*

I was wondering that too, though i suppose i understand that it wouldn't be an immediate thing to care about.

I totally would have taken the severed arm with the watch on it with me and used it to shake peoples hands in greetings and such.

How do you put on a watch with only one hand (if you went alone)? Otherwise, I think Lee was too foucsed talking to the other members or thinking about Clem to remember.

It's not impossible for Christa or Kenny to keep the watch after taking the arm out though, maybe forgetting to give it back or as a memory.

Lee's more or less adopted daughter, if you want to consider her that, or if not a person, that was very close to him and of utmost importance no less was missing, in a world full of flesh eating, rotten monsters, who move in hordes and kill whatever they can grab, and she's probably held by some sick fuck, who may not be right in his mind, to top all that shit off Lee sort of knows he won't make it, meaning he knows he's got a small enough time frame to save her, and spend his last moments with her. He could give two shits about that watch if you ask me, I certainly would not think of it, I didn't even notice there was one on his arm. What would he or she or anyone need it for anyways? Life as we know it is fucked, rules of nature apply meaning you don't pay attention to time, but rather to sunrise and sunset, or day and night for going out.

    That'd be sweet...

Lee: "How you doing?" *Puts out hand*
Guy: "Not bad, you?" *Shakes it and Lee's hand falls off* "Holy shit!"
Lee: "Well... I could use a hand here."

    Oh the classics...

Thanks for giving it back, good thing it was his left hand, because he's alright now.
