Kenny.
So, what did you guys think about him and his 'death'?
I say I really liked Kenny as a character. He had his ups and downs, and wasn't a gary-stu in the slightest. I also had good times laughing at him, like when Larry knocked him out and he got jumped by old cancer survivors. He also shared my distaste for Ben, but maybe he went a little overboard with it. His nicknames for Ben also made me laugh, and his plans were actually good.
But his 'death'.
I didn't really like how he said "I'm a Christian man." "Try to go as long as you can." Blah blah, and then practically suicides for a obviously dead Ben. I mean, that had some faults there. But I really think the Christa 'death' scene makes more sense; he would have more chances of surviving, and he couldn't get out, unlike the Ben scenario.

That being said, I still like the Christa scene more. Especially when I picked the "Go back for him" option and Omid literally had to hold my Lee back from going down there.
He clearly gets bitten on the arm. We should just thank TellTale for not making us watch Kenny get eaten alive. It's a matter of taste, for his heroic ending.
Haha! I also heard if you save a bullet in the scene where you're going up into the attic, you can give him it and he'll shoot himself after shooting Ben.
Kenny was my Lee's friend, too.
Maybe, as the sleeve was never torn.
Haha!~
Iff you were being torn apart alive 5 feet away from me I don't think the screaming wouldn be muffled. Besides, he runs off screen and when you look from above they aren't eating and there are no walkers at the end of the alley. He clearly runs off screen as well.
No blood, no marks, and not even the sleeve ripped. Sounds like a bite to me.
The screaming could be muffled from the walkers dogpiling him, maybe?
Deffie.
Then how come they weren't when you looked down on them?
Maybe there were some ontop of him, but there were so many walkers all you could see were the ones standing up?
And it could also be a mistake on the artist's part \n/

Kenny for me was a good character, he was pretty selfish at times but not a bad guy really. The scene with Ben standing up to Kenny after being getting insulted by him and harrassed constantly did help a bit in making Kenny seem less like an idiot for just blaming Ben without consideration for what Ben might have been through. His final scene where he stays behind to stop Ben from turning striked me as odd, if he wanted to end Bens suffering he could have easily shot him from the ladder Lee used to get back onto the roof and then just closed the gate and went on with the rest of the group to find Clem. Especially after him saying you shouldn't just give up and to keep fighting on.
I agree. Kenny could've just as easily shot Ben in the head and say pow then climb the ladder with Lee.
I guess it was TTG's redemption scene for him.
Yeah seems like that's what they were going for though it just kinda conflicted with his character because of his whole "family matters" mindset, not giving in by suicide, friendship with Lee depending on player actions and trying to find Clem after taking care of her so long with the rest of the group and knowing Lee was going to die soon.
Felt like a bit of a rushed and pointless death. I heard if Ben dies in episode 4 he dies by having to lift Christa up from a hole in the roof by giving her a boost up then just getting killed by the walkers inside the room. That to me doesn't conflict with his character at all and it was a death that happened because he had no options for escape or fighting back but in Ben's final scene he could have.
Yes, if you kill Ben then Kenny bumps into Lee and the walkie falls into the hole. Then Christa becomes a bitch and jumps down after it before Lee can say anything and gives the walkie back but can't get out of the hole, and walkers start to come from the noise. Kenny gets pissed off and jumps in and helps her up, but cannot get back up himself and is trapped by walkers.
That death was mainly Christa being retarded.
Haha, yes the pregnant women jumps in over the guy who's about to die from the bite :L
Exactly.
What does Omid see in her?
It was him finally forgiving Ben
I told him to leave
I refused to leave
He saw it s either a chance to die or a chance to be a hero
Kenny is a great character, amazing in fact. I hated his personality however. I love what Telltale did with him, but I just hate the guy.
He even dare to mention Lilly... that bastard.
His Christa death scene is way better... at least there is some purpose in his death. In Ben's scene he's like doing the exact opposite of what he said we should do 5 minutes ago. Kinda of hypocritical.
"Don't give up, Katjaa shouldn't have given up... she left me bla bla bla "
*5 mins later stays to fight off hordes of walkers for an already dead Ben.
I liked Kenny's character arc a lot, even though I spent a significant chunk of the game thinking he was an enormous asshole. So it was really disappointing that his death was so lame.
I agree. Just that I liked Kenny, haha.
The third scenario makes it seem like he'd survive.
That's what I'm hoping. Why would he ask for all my bullets if he was just planning on killing himself via walker? It seemed more like a "I need to help Ben but I want to be able to walk away from it after."
An even BETTER way would be to shoot Ben while climbing up the ladder.
Pretty much yeah...if he is alive then it's just supposed to be a suspenseful situation and Telltale doesn't want us to know for sure until they tell us...but no it doesn't really make sense for him to stay behind just to kill Ben.
Maybe he thought the zombies would think of him as a better snack then Ben since he has more meat on his bones?
