[SPOILERS all episodes] Problem with the savegame fix

edited November 2012 in The Walking Dead
Hi there people.

Two days ago I was finishing up Episode 4. But when the credits started rolling in I foolishly tabbed out the game and my PC crashed. When I restarted TWD I found myself, like many others, that my savegame was corrupted. I searched this forums and did a savegame fix where I started a episode 4 game, and reinstated a pervious episode 4 savegame (not at the very end though). I managed to re-finish the episode and I was able to start episode 5.

I noticed that the 'previously on TWD' was pretty correct, but Clem was wearing the hoodie from the car. I didn't take stuff from the car, so this was wrong, but I thought it might have been just a bug.

At the end of the game (I think) when the man with the car confronted me, he said that Clem ate human food (which she didn't) and that I stole the hoody etc. I didn't play any further (so no spoilers please!) because obviously was something broken.

Did I do something wrong when I tried to fix the savegame? Should I have try to fix the very last savegame (which I can still do)? Or am I doomed to play through the game again and re-enact my decissions to see my outcome of the game?

edit: I created the thread in the wrong forums. Sorry for that.

it doesn't matter if clem has the hoodie or ate human flesh. makes absolutely zero difference. if you replay he will just find other things to accuse you. so just continue with the save you have it makes absolutely and literally zero, let me spell that out for you: ZERO difference.

I see, but it doesn't feel right.

    Are you playing on steam?
Check out the support area I think you'll find your fix there.
