How do we know it was Omid and Christa?

edited November 2012 in The Walking Dead
Everyone says the two strangers in the epilogue are Omid and Christa but I felt that scene was too ambiguous to really determine anything. Here's what we know.

-Christa is pregnant, would her and Omid put the baby first and just left Savannah after Lee jumped?

-The only destination you can give Clem, Omid and Christa to meet up is the train. However we also know the noise of the train attracted thousands of walkers and the train is not safe.

-Omid and Christa were only with the group for 3-4 days. That's not a lot of time to bond. Would they risk their lives for a girl they just met?

I think they would risk their lives for her, they already had up to that point. Also, Christa mentioned leaving the cities to travel in the countryside. It could be them. Personally I am hoping that it is somebody new, it would neat to start off with new people and let that story intersect with Clem.

Wasn't it night time when Lee and Clem walk through the herd? If so, then that means an entire day(or more) passed by the time we see the epilogue. Omid & Christa already planned to go to the countryside and could probably put two and two together to realize Lee is dead and Clementine is either dead or has fled somewhere, they wouldn't stay in Savannah risking their own lives as well as her unborn baby's to search for someone who might be dead already(well, maybe they would but certainly not until the end of time, especially with the herd being there).

My guess is they attempted to follow Lee's plan(look for boat/meet up with Lee/meet by train), waited a day or as long as they could, and either decided he(and potentially Clementine) was dead and took off or were forced to flee from the herd.

This. How long can you wait before you figure that they're dead? With so many zombies, it was just too risky. Although I know lee needed to confront the stranger alone, I think it would've been more logical for christa and omid to also go to the marsh house but maybe wait by the door for backup/protection.
