Sam and Max: Season One - Insert the original disk!?!

I installed the game just fine, but when I actually tried to start the first episode it wouldn't go. All I get is this message that says:

Please insert the original disc instead of a backup (4001).

This IS the original disk, I bought it and everything. I sent a report to the securom people already but I'd like some help here cause I dont' know how long it will take for them to get back to me.

    Sometimes various other programs can cause SecuRom to throw errors at you. If you have any sort of cd burning program that creates a virtual drive, such as Alcohol or Daemon Tools, you will probably need to disable those.
