    He announced he was stepping down awhile ago, actually. He's been slowly phasing himself out over the past few years, though, so it's not very surprising.

    Yes, I think it's been over a year already when he mentioned that he is stepping down. Can't really remember but it's not exactly recent.

    I just thought it was a shame we didn't see him playing Guitar Hero...

    It will be nice to see him step down, so his place can be taken by someone WHO CAN ACTUALLY DEBUG WINDOWS AND INTERNET EXPLORER.
