Kenny wasn't . . . (Episode 5)
....suicidal
He wasn't suicidal.
Think about it.
Not saying he isn't dead. Just saying he wasn't suicidal.
He wasn't suicidal.
Think about it.
- He fights the walkers off. If he truly wanted to die, he would've just let them eat him.
- He pushes Lee and locks him out. More than likely because Lee would've wanted to help Ben and wouldn't have opted to mercy kill Ben (due to all the Ben lovers on here).
- Further evidence of this is the fact he backs away from the horde, the opposite of Lee's death march to the Marsh House.
- In the Christa version he starts to say something like "Go! I'll me--" Like "Go, I'll meet you somewhere" possibly.
Not saying he isn't dead. Just saying he wasn't suicidal.

Edit: what Rock said.
or yanked ben off the spike ignoring his pain (and that he will probably die) and have a few minutes with ben to decide what to do
and ben is the me of TWD, but personally i would have not wanted my death to cause another
Kenny went out thinking that there may have been a way to save Ben, even if it were a sliver of a chance because, as he said, "you should go out trying to protect the ones you care about." He wasn't giving up, I'm willing to bet if he had two bullets in that gun, one for himself and one for Ben, he still wouldn't have shot himself.
when he had 6 bullets you only hear 1 shot (you can not shoot any zombies at the part before the attic and give all the bullets to kenny)
There was no reason for him to die at all, that's why it was dumb, hypocrite, suicidal move.
As thestalkinghead, he could've saved his heroics for Clem.
So, no I don't think that Kenny was suicidal, if you want to reply saying I'm being dumb and there is no arguement to be found blah blah blah then please do it will be interesting to find out what others thought
Why would I say you're dumb? I say Kenny is, but everybody is entitled to their own opinion.
I don't perceive his Save Christa move as exactly "save" cause it was him who pushed Lee and caused him to drop the walkie. It should have been him who went to get it, not Christa. If anybody was heroic here, it was her, knowing what was at stake and fixing something she didn't broke.
Kenny was just fixing his own mistake, which is actually a much better ending than "I'm gonna die for basically no reason - Ben death)
Some people do write 'you're so dumb, your opinion is stupid blah blah blah'
Oh yeah Kenny was the one who dropped the walkie talkie.... Although he could of just left it... They knew where they had to go, why waste time getting that out when they could of gotten more people to go and help save Clem.... But yeah... I had actually forgotten that Kenny shoved Lee's arm.
Thanks for responding I like seeing what others think
Of course the Lilly fan is the one that thinks Kenny was suicidal.
Either he saves Clem, or he sees kat again. Sounds more like he knows he's going to die/he's sacrificing himself.
Either he saves Ben, or he sees Kat again. Sounds more like he isn't planning on dying, but whatever happens it's all good.
Either way I don't think ihe's doing it just because he's given up.
I agree. Christa was right to go after the walkie. They couldn't know what situation the mystery guy was in. He could've been driven away because of walkers. They knew he would contact Lee if he moved because he apparently wanted to meet him. So yeah, the walkie was very important although they didn't got to use it again. Lee couldn't afford to go to the Marsh House and then go back to grab the walkie when he realizes Clem is not there. The walkie was the only means of communication so they had to stay on the safe side. For Clem's sake.
