    I think people would be interested in space even if it was just a big empty void.

    Didn't say everyone. I said people.

    In either case, I'm totally getting myself into the space program, even if I have to go to SpaceX to do it. Though, I'd far rather work for JPL since the location is better.

    I'd like to contribute a bad pun on bacteria here but I don't have a single gram of knowledge in this field and I don't want to strain myself with searching the web.
