Question on Episode 2

edited November 2012 in The Walking Dead
I was unable to get an answer for this when I posted before, so here goes:

In Episode 1, I saved Duck, defended Kenny verbally in the store (but said "reason with him"). When Kenny asked for consolation, I didn't give it to him. Later on, in Episode 2 when Kenny first arrives on the farm, when I talk to him when he's pushing Duck on the swing and ask him if his family reached the farm all right, he responds like I voted Duck out in the pharmacy.

In my first playthrough I did the exact same thing as above, except I consoled Kenny. Is Kenny's response in Episode a result of my lack of consolation or is this a save issue?

If you chose "we reason with him", that's a sign you're on Larry's side in the drugstore. It's not a save game problem.

yeah "reason with him" is confusing it's reason with Kenny not Larry

I didn't know that "Reason with Him" was confirmed to be anti-Kenny even though in context it doesn't sound like it.

The reason I question this is because, like I said, the only difference between my new playthrough and my first is I didn't console Kenny. Yet, in my original playthrough, he doesn't have this reaction in Episode 2.
