Would you name your son "Duck"

edited December 2012 in The Walking Dead
Or use it as a nickname?

I know everyone with any sense would name their daughter Clementine, but what about Duck? Is he a worthy enough character or is he another Carl?

Hm I don't live in an english speaking country but no I will not name my son Duck or as nickname. Clementine is such a pretty name I think.

I don't think so... Clementine has a CI over here since the 50s I wouldn't want my daughter to be part of... :D

I might be alone in this but I thought Duck was freaking adorable. A spaz at times, but most 7/8? year old boys are. It's a cute nickname, so why not?

I was definitely a fan when he asked to help Lee look for clues and wanted a high five.

"Duck thinks you are incredibly awesome." :D

Actually if I remember, maybe. If I get the chance for two boys, one will be Kenny (Nicknamed Duck) and Ben. A boy and a girl? Ben and Carley. Two girls? Lilly and Clementine.

I always liked the kids with unique names. I knew a kid named Lahiru when I was young. He was from Sri Lanka. So Duck would be a pretty good nickname. I don't know about a real name though. Just think about Duck written on a birth certificate.

Of course I will call my second son Duck. His brother Donkey will love it but first I have to convince my wife Piggy, she already disliked the name of our daughter Caterpillar but my cousin Dog, helped me to convince her... Sorry but animal names are ridiculous for children and you have to be a terrible parent if you name one of you children like that.

[off topic] Heh... reminds me of a scene from the Big Bang Theory.

Leonard: Our children will be smart and beautiful.

Sheldon: Not to mention imaginary. [/off topic]

This, they called him Kenny Jr in EP 1 when the first meet Kenny and Kat at the farm. Duck is just a nickname.

You could always name him Goose....just to stand out from the crowd....or maybe you just really really like Top Gun.

Name your next dog or cat "Duck". That would be more amusing. I knew a woman who's toddler wanted to name her cat Curtain Rod. Another lady let her 3 year old girl name their new kitten Purple. Imagine the fun calls to the veterinarian's office!

I remember a joke where a guy named his dog "Sex".
