Next Season ending song ideas
Okay so I'm sure that this topic doesn't include spoilers.. SO!
I'm pretty sure that by now everyone knows the legendary song "Take us back" that plays during the Season's end credits, so I was thinking "Why not add another touching and some what emotional song to Season 2's ending?" So I thought of the song "Hurt" By Johnny Cash, due to the song being very emotional and having a slight connection with a zombie apocalypse in my own opinion. So! I'm encouraging you guys to post some song ideas, tell me what you think of my song idea, etc. !
Songs:
Hurt - Johnny Cash
In My Life - Johnny Cash
Ain't No Grave - Johnny Cash
Don't Let Me Die Still Wondering - Flogging Molly
Maybe About Today - The National
Way To Fall - Starsailor
Help I'm alive - Metric
Hallelujah - Rufus Wainwright
A Great Day For Freedom - Pink Floyd
Yesterday - The Beatles
Blackbird - The Beatles
Clutch - The Regulator
Dragonfly - Martin Craft
Goodnight,Travel Well - The Killers
Maybe About Today - The National
Deadman's Gun - RDR
Free Bird - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Georgia on my Mind - Ray Charles
He Will Open The Gate - The Bass Mountain Boys
Devil Got My Woman - Gregg Allman
If The World - Guns And Roses
So far I'm seeing tons of very fitting songs for TTG's Walking Dead!+

I know no song which would perfectly suit to a ZA game. Time to kill is now - Cannibal Corpse if everyone dies in the end^^
A Great Day for Freedom - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KWFwFJNI4U
Yesterday - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNnaxGFO18o
Blackbird - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7epRPz0LGPE
But since those are all super copyrighted, the chance they'd ever be considered would be pretty thin.
Heard it while watching Warrior, I instantly liked it.
Starsailor - Way To Fall

I think this song would be pretty fitting, honestly. It plays during the credits of Metal Gear Solid 3 as well and is pretty associated with that game now so it's probably not the best choice. Still I think it'd fit the mood.
Johnny Cash's version of In My Life

A somber tone, but could also fit a hopeless ending as well as a more uplifting one. By uplifting, I mean maybe the protagonist survives despite the tragedy they will undoubtedly experience during the season.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQK4YfiPj1Q (Hallelujah by Rufus Wainwright. This song could actually be used with a somber-type ending.)

"If the world would end today
Then all the dreams we had would all just drift away
You know there's nothing more to say
If the world would end and our love slipped away"

Georgia on my Mind - Ray Charles
He Will Open The Gate - The Bass Mountain Boys
Devil Got My Woman - Gregg Allman
Thanks!
Since I believe season two will end in a different way, I expect another type of theme for the credit song is going to be needed.
... this song touches the soul... and moves my heart. It makes me feel so sad...but it is appropriate... and makes me wish that Lee was going to be there for Clementine. Though in a world like the one they are in now, does any of that matter? Somewhere there has to be hope, but if it follows Kirkman's lead, then I don't see that... but yeah, this song... anthem of grief and loss and doubt and fear... even amidst the wonder, and the love and the singing and the joy... it always ends... there is an end to the road for all of us, and we all sing this song as we travel down that last road...
It's probably only appropiate if Clem is the protagonist. Why? Becuz these lyrics.
"I'm just a little girl lost in the moment,
I'm so scared, but I dont show it.
I can't figure it out, its bringing me down I know... I have to let it go..."

It's pretty different, but I would also like to hear an American folk song, maybe from the Civil War era, like Tenting on the Old Camp Ground.
(Yeah, I'm passionate about this era and I'm not an old white guy either)

THIS ONE IS BETTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!

But it all depends on just how Season 2 ends.
It's The Walking Dead. We know.
