Will vernon and his group make an apperance in season 2?

Feels odd just letting him and his group's story end there after they take the boat without a good conclusion along with some of the other characters that are left unknown.

Were they that bad? I mean if you threatened them and were nothing but an ass to vernon i can see why he would take it. I prefer to think of it as the rest of the groups fault for not watching clementine when campman had been watching them the entire time waiting for the easy grab. Vernon left with the boat because lee lost clementine which would make sense.

I had done NOTHING bad to them, I helped them get their medicine, was nice to Vernon and Brie and they left 6 people , one of them a child, (5 if Ben's dead) to die in a city that they knew was full of walkers. Of course they're that bad!

I would expect to learn their fate, but probably in a casual way, I'd be surprised if it's a major plot point.

However, Kirkman said regarding the fate of Andrew (a character who walks outside the area where the party is staying and is simply never seen again and never will be) that in a world like that of TWD, you often wouldn't find out what happened to people you parted ways with. Always going for closure is unrealistic in a highly dangerous world with no telecommunications. So there may be things like Vernon's fate that we just don't ever get answers on.

Seems unlikely. Either his group is happy on sea, or they got devoured by zombies. More likely the latter. I'd think that TT would leave his fate ambiguous.

I think it's one of the various options they let ambiguous to see if it fits in season 2, like Kenny's death, Molly leaving the group, the two shadows at the ending. As soon they start writing the plot they will see what they could use to improve the story, to make references to season 1 (hopefully according to your choices there) and to surprise the fans.
