Ben (bell tower) probably experienced the most painful death. Other notable painful deaths include: Carley (pharmacy), Doug (pharmacy), Kenny, Beatrice (not shot) and Brie, basically anyone who is eaten alive. It's possible that Lee and Duck experienced some pain due to the infection, I'd imagine the pain would be numbed when the infection spread. There's also Mark, although he at least got morphine.
Worst would have to been Ben in the clocktower. But Mark's is close to beating it. The only reason I choose Ben over Mark is because Ben was eaten after falling and breaking both his legs.
It had to be Ben falling down the bell tower. I could tell he wanted to live but couldn't shake walker Oberson off his back in time. I looked over the broken railing at Ben and, I don't do this often in a ZA, but grimaced as he was eaten alive.

I voted Ben easily, Mark was doped up on morphine other than the arrow!
Either Lee or Ben. Lee was slowly dying from the inside throughout the whole episode. He just grew worse. As for Ben, I think it might be the most painful. Everyone thought he would have died from the fall in the bell tower. Instead, he broke his legs, got devoured by walkers to death while crying helplessly. You could even see the cringe on Lee's face as Ben hits the floor. Glad I never dropped him, though.
I'm surprised not even one person has voted for the balcony impaling. It looks like they're going for the slow deaths...
To the you the truth, I don't think that Ben felt the ACTUAL impaling. He said that his leg was hurt. It was only after Kenny tried to pull him when he started to feel the pain.

The thing is, Ben was in shock after he got impaled. He couldn't feel the pain, at first he said he was okay and was ready to get up and go. His death was caused by Kenny who shot him in the head so the walkers couldn't devour him.

I know that. It's just, that doesn't change the fact that a giant scrap of metal went through his body.
He looked pretty starved, and water would be far easier to get than food... depending on how long the utilities continued to run.
Usually takes a person three weeks to starve to death (perhaps shorter for Fival because he's so tiny?) and I just assumed he'd ran out of water during like his first week of starvation and died that way. I mean he did die with an empty water bottle by his side and water was probably quite scarce too.
Ben in the belltower, hands down. Whenever I'm watching someone else's LP and they drop him, I pull out my headphones and look away while cursing the LPer in a variety of insulting and creative ways. That's one foolproof way of NOT getting my subscription.

I'm just being nitpicky though sooooooooooo nvm.
Well, I'm going off of how withered he was. So withered he couldn't even stand.
there were no zombies in the house. why did the kid stay up there
Think about how young he was and there were absolutely no-one else in the house. He probably hid from the walkers, because he was scared. Then, you know the rest.

I surprised hardly anyone has voted for Larry. I helped Kenny, and I wouldn't change that choice, but damn that's gotta be painful, even if you are unconscious.

Kenny was kind of dead inside from episode 3 onwards. Still voted for "Ben's Fun Clock Tower Extravaganza! Uttery Bone Breaking! So Fun You'll Require CPR From A Zombie!"

Mark. He was probably drugged and watched his legs get cut off by cannibals, than locked in a tiny room as he slowly suffered and bled. Then crawls down some stairs painfully only to be tossed back up them to eventually die of blood loss.
On my first play through I let go of Ben. He kept telling me to leave him and that I didn't have enough time to save. I dropped, and his death horrifies me to this day. The way he fell to the ground, broke his knees, and called out to me...
But I'd say the girl who came screaming out in the middle of the street when you're about to loot the Pharmacy with Kenny. She had survived for that long and was at that time just being casually and repetitively bitten by zombies. She had the gunk all over her and was on her own. I reckon it was pretty painful and horrifying.

Ugh. Don't even get me started.

Starving to death is a slow way to go, it probably took him weeks to die.
And it wouldn't have been an easy death.
And he's a kid who was probably scared shitless.

He was afraid of their racism.
Maybe he was just scared, or probably his parent's told him to stay up there until they get back.
*puts flashlight up to face*
But they never did.
DUN DUN DUUUUN
*GASP*

Mark's death is in second position.

I'm never dropping Ben again.
