Where to buy retail in time for Xmas?

(Apologies if this question has been asked elsewhere; I did look before posting)

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is desperate to buy a bunch of retail copies to give as Xmas presents. But with only 2 weeks to Christmas, and delivery times being mental this time of year, I'm starting to get panicky.

I'm UK based and have been able to find no sign of the retail game on the TellTale website, Amazon or Play.com. Does anyone have any confirmed retailers that can allow me to buy these copies in time for Xmas??

That seems a ridiculous business strategy. Award winning product that everyone's raving about, two weeks to Christmas... it would be flying off shelves (if it were on them in the first place).

If it's a console version you can get them a points card for Christmas so they can buy it themselves.

But yeah, that kind of sucks.

The retail version was released today in North America. But it's not available at retail in other regions (Telltale is a company from the United States and it is only a publisher in North America. Remember, that at the moment, Telltale is still a relatively small company, employing only around 120 employees. It's still hard for them to co-ordinate worldwide releases, especially with physical products since they have to go through external publishers).

You can order the North American version at Amazon or GameStop. However, the disc will be in NTSC format instead of PAL (which shouldn't matter for most modern television sets, but be aware just in case). I'm also not sure about region encoding. Some PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 discs don't have region encoding. I'm not sure if Telltale's releases do.
