Lee at the end.

edited December 2012 in The Walking Dead
Hi, a lot of people think that they won't play season 2 without Lee in it, and the rest people think they won't play season 2 with Lee. And what do you think?

Personally I want Lee in season 2. He is the best Main game protagonist i have ever seen, and also i think season 2 won't be the same without him.
I created that pool, because i want to know how much people will miss Lee. I don't said it will happen. Or do we except him in season 2. Just that if we want him ;].

lee is dead, zombie gameplay wouldn't be that good, at least not for an entire game :)

Hey he hadn't completely turned! How about if they find a cure? I won't play it without Lee. I cried my eyes out for all of them when I finished the game. Jeeze so emotional. Literally COL!!!!!!!!!!!!! boo hoo boohoooooooo

Obviously it won't be the same without him. That's exactly the point though, they want characters to have an emotional impact on the players, so they obviously aren't going to bring back characters that are obviously dead. They want it to be different, because they can't always make all their players happy. So it's going to be different so the story will have more of an emotional impact.

How are we gonna put a dead character in Season 2? Sorry, he's officially dead.
If you want him, then maybe you'll get him as a walker or a body cuffed to a radiator.

I don't want to see his walking corpse (my version of) this will be too hard for me... and for Clementine.

I know TTG struggled with this decision and considered changing the ending of season 1. Then they decided to keep the ending the same even after announcing that there would be a season 2. Although Lee's story has come to a close, Clem's story goes on and I'm confident that TTG will provide returning fans and new fans another great gaming experience in season 2.

I don't want to see him back. Alive. Now I think it would be cool if at the start of Season 2 you find him zombified or dead lying on the ground. Imagine having to kill Zombie Lee.

Yeah i want Lee in season 2,he needs to have a cape,be able to fly and have a big sword that fires lightening at the zombies...or am i getting confused with Skyrim:)

Want? Yes, very much so. Expect? No, not really.

Actually I would like to see him in a "flashback" perhaps integral to a decision of Clem's in Season 2. But in the flesh? No. I agree that Lee is dead ... Unless he's not ;)

Lee would have been a great character for season 2. But he's dead. Even if they bring back Lee by showing him as a zombie, that'd still be pretty stupid.

He is dead. Deaaaad. Why 28% vote for Lee in S2 is beyond me. He was a great protagonist for Season 1 and died in honor.
And we will see another great one in season 2.

Players where presented with two options; they had the option to have Clementine shoot Lee in the head to prevent him from turning or leave him cuffed to the radiator in which he slumps to his death, so I don't see how it's possible to have him back. We saw him die. I didn't want Lee to die, but what's done is done. I don't want to see Lee return through some miraculous reason; I think it would be really unbelievable and cheapen the ending of Season 1. The only way I could see Lee returning is as a walker, and I wouldn't want that.

    Clem's seen her reanimated parents. Imagine how she feel after seeing Lee again. ;-;

Not as the main character/player, but maybe a sequence where Clem finds zombie Lee

well unless I missed a frame at the end of the game we never actually saw him die. it just looked like he was on the verge of death and then you could either leave him there or have Clem shoot him. And we dont even see if Clem really shot him in the face.

What do you think he was doing when he slumped onto the radiator, taking a nap?

no lol..he was probably dying. But my point is we didnt see his actual moment of death. We cant say with 100% certainty he died based on the end of the game. I think he probably died, but stranger things have happened in the video game world.

Didn't he stop breathing? I suppose he could have merely passed out but the only way for Lee to have survived the whole ordeal is for him to not have been infected. As far as Clem not really shooting him goes; well, the screen goes black so I'm guessing that's supposed to be signaling that it's over for Lee.

Erm... How do you suppose they could revive Lee with him all on the verge of 'death' (if not already dead), barely able to move, or even talk, without ruining the realism of the game?

I would love to have him in Season 2, but he is dead.

No, i didn't say that, i just want to say, they won't ruin suprise like that.

Yup, me too, really want him back... Perfect character with good story, good voice, and a guardian of Clem...
