Why are the big decisions not all at 50% now?

edited December 2012 in The Walking Dead
I mean, we've all gone back and replayed the episodes to see what happens when we make different decisions. So why aren't those plays taken into account in the percentage?

Not everyone has gone back and replayed.

True, but a lot of decisions are still at a huge 80/20 split. That would definitely change with people going back and trying other choices, even if it were a minority. I'm curious as to why that hasn't changed.

cuz very few people like doing the "wrong" choice or stuff like that

    or the less "humanism"/realistic choices

I think telltale should make a system where only the first play is recorded in statistics. Replaying or rewinding would automatically stop counting towards the statistics.

Because I'd really like to see the real numbers.
Sure, not everyone replays but a lot of people do and choose the opposite of their real choice. Let's say we have 100 players. 80 players choose Carley over Doug. 50% players will replay the episode (40 now choose doug and 10 carley) to see the other side... that turns a statistic that should have stated: 20% - 80 %, into a false stat of
40% - 60%. Just an example and I know probably less than half replay but still the statistics should only count first plays.

Agreed, it should be a one shot deal.

I personally don't know anyone that has played the game more than once. What I did was watching the alternative choices on YouTube.

I don't replay episodes either, but i agree that only the first play should count. I think the stats have evened out a bit more, just not as much as previously. At one point i saw a stats screen with 95% having
    Clem shoot Lee.
    Now it's around 60-80%. They're always fluctuating.

Just because I didn't drop Ben doesn't mean I want to.

I didn't want to drop Ben either, but that didn't stop me from going back and doing it anyway. I tried to get everything out of the game I could.

I dropped his ass on my personal playthrough.

He had put the group in danger way too many times and I would have been rid of him sooner if I could have been. Too dishonest and untrustworthy.

It was for the greater good.
