What happened to the controller support!?!

I just upraded to Windows 8 Pro which was kind of a a bad idea because all my Walking Dead saves are now gone and steam's save sync just synced my blank files so now I gotta play through everything again... But now whats really annoying is that now I can't play with my controller! I did the DINPUT8.dll trick which let me start the game with a controller in but I can't use the controller Xbox 360 controller still. Does anyone know of another fix because I'm really thinking of just getting this for the Xbox 360 now because of all the problems I've had with this game on the PC. I'll take Xbox 360 FPS drops than losing all my saves and not being able to use my controller anymore. :mad:

Something about Windows 8 not being a supported platform. No idea why the hell they'd have that kind of problem considering a bunch of older games I've tried work fine with the 360 controller on Win 8...

Yeah, thanks to Game Informer letting me know about the start menu being non existent in Windows 8.

I know to stay away from Windows 8, this is just another reason.

Has anybody found a way to resolve this issue? I am having the same problem, upgraded to Windows 8, now my Xbox 360 controller is not working, even after the .dll fix.

Thanks, I found the solution. You need to download this specific .dll file, http://www.topdll.com/download/dinput8.dll?q=5e08ac958be05247ff1539e0d1ce7905

And copy it into your TWD folder. That did the trick!
