Sam & Max & Pink Floyd

edited January 2008 in Sam & Max
Has anybody spotted the reference to Pink Floyd in E202? :)
The voice on the underwater radio (almost) quotes first 3 lines from Comfortably Numb

Now let's see, E106 was called the "Bright side of the moon". I wonder if there's any trend? Are we to expect "Atom heart Max" or something? :)

Oh yes, and there's also one in E201, when
Jimmy wants to commit suicide and he says "Goodbye cruel world"
, although I wonder if this really is a Pink Floyd reference

Maybe there are some more references elsewhere, but I haven't spotted them. Anybody?

I read the thread title and I was ready to pop my Dark Side of the Moon CD into the CD player. But where would I start it? (there is no roaring lion)

Pink Floyd gets referenced by just about anyone who was listening to music in the 70's. They're one of the biggest selling bands of all time (not Beatles big, but big. I think they're in the top 10 or 20 or something like that.)
The point is that Floyd references are practically mandatory.
As for the 'goodbye cruel world' bit, I'm pretty sure that's just a phrase that's often used in such situations. It's not necessarily a Floyd reference.
