What Should Happen to Lilly?

edited January 2013 in The Walking Dead
Originally Lilly from the game and Lilly Caul from the comics/book were supposed to be the same person, but that was later changed.

With them now being two completely different characters, what should happen with Lilly from the game? As it stands, her fate is a complete unknown.

Should she return in the sequel? Should she not return as a character, but we discover her fate in some other fashion? Or should her ultimate fate be left a mystery, with no one ever knowing whether she lives or dies following either being ditched on the side of the road, or taking off alone in that RV?

I want to see a Lilly and Clem reunion, that could be interesting. Lilly might feel guilty about what she did and believe its all her fault Lee died leaving Clem alone.

I really want to see Lilly's character come back in season 2 one way or another.

She should come back with bells and assault rifles on.

Nah, I prefer original characters in the game. I like that they take characters from the comic though, but I don't want them to make her center of attention.

Did you read what he wrote?

I think Lilly is a good charakter, I liked her very much. Yes, she made a mistake, a huge one. But who did not? Kenny let Shawn die. Lee killed the senator and may make many more. Katjaa could not accept the fate of her son. Carley was not careful with Lilly, leading her to shoot her, more or less. I do not know, no mistakes for doug I guess. He did not learn to shoot? Ben... Yes... I could go on with this list a long time.

She is a well thought through charakter with a gripping backstory of which I would like to know more about. I think she has what it takes to survive this, like Rick, so yes, she should do it!

PS: Thinking about it, I'd like her as protagonist vor season 2, too. But maybe not meeting clementine. That would be a ton of luck, would it not?

I'd love to see Lilly back in season 2, she was one of my favourite characters!

Even though she has "changed", i think Telltale will probably stick with their original plan for Lilly(drives/walks off and fate is unknown). They plan a lot of things ahead of time and probably had this ending for her figured out very early on. Her fate was fitting and there doesn't seem much of a compelling reason to bring her back other than nostalgia purposes.

Yeah, I'd agree with Mornai that Telltale would stick with it's plan.

But I think she should not return. I mean, what's the use? Why will the group care, considering she caused drama/ etc there?

Maybe there should be an option to kill Lilly? / option to deflect/push her hand when aiming the gun.
