Why Doesn't Clem Go Where I Tell Her to Go?

edited January 2013 in The Walking Dead
Soooooo I tell omid and christa to go to the train and wait for me to come and find them there after the sign breaks...well at the very end of the ep before Clem shoots me I tell her to met up with omid and christa at the train... So then after all the credits Clem is not heading towards their and is somewhere unknown...where could she be and why didn't she go to the train?

You haven't figured out by now that choices in the game don't really matter?

...they do it idk just makes it almost realistic now that I think about it...not every time will someone in the game just always follow ur command

Like Kenny's bumper sticker says, "Shit Happens."

I'm guessing Clem tried to make it to the train station, but had to make a detour. Maybe it was still mobbed with hundreds of zombies. Or, maybe a pack of untrustworhy humans was hanging about.

Omid and Christa may not have made it to the train station for similar reasons.

We don't know if Clem's scene was right after that though. For all we know she might have went to the train and Omid / Christa weren't there. With no other option she went to the countryside. As to why Omid / Christa not being there, a whole number of things might have happened to them.

Night is jus falling as Lee chops his way through the herd outside the hotel, so Clem probably escaped the city a few hours before dawn. We see her just about in the middle of the day, so she had plenty of time to get to the train then leave when Christa and Omid didn't show up.

Well, I'll quote myself from another thread on this subject:

Wasn't it night time when Lee and Clem walk through the herd? If so, then that means an entire day(or more) passed by the time we see the epilogue. Omid & Christa already planned to go to the countryside and could probably put two and two together to realize Lee is dead and Clementine is either dead or has fled somewhere, they wouldn't stay in Savannah risking their own lives as well as her unborn baby's to search for someone who might be dead already(well, maybe they would but certainly not until the end of time, especially with the herd being there).

My guess is they attempted to follow Lee's plan(look for boat/meet up with Lee/meet by train), waited a day or as long as they could, and either decided he(and potentially Clementine) was dead and took off or were forced to flee from the herd.

I think the same is true of Clem. We know the city is swarming with walkers and they came in from the railroad tracks, so i think if you told her to go there, she did, then saw that it was surrounded by thousands of dead, and fled the city, as Lee was going to do.

That is assuming of of course that the train station was accessible. It may not have been.

Clem could also have been forced to avoid the train station if it were overrun by zombies, or if it had become the campsite for another group.

Yea,this is where I wish they had a setting in the game where u could turn on something so u could write ur own dialogue or thing to say...I know it is super unrealistic but it would've been cool because the options u can tell omid and christa where to go are all bad. Silence ._. , go to the train where the hoard is poaring from, to the docks where there are no boats or hope, and to find him once he gets down which is also crazy.

Mine ended with Clem out in some field. Two figures in the distance and some tense music. Faces can't be made out but I assume the two are the walkers formerly known as Omid and Christa.

@sfs99: That is a terrible idea, thank you. :P
