202 Debug Mode

edited February 2008 in Sam & Max
If you go into Debug Mode in 202 and click on "Street" you'll see Syble just standing there but when you click on her she screams. Its funny.

cross your fingers, and hold alt and press F1-F6. that normally does the trick! ;)

i always just activate it by bashing my head off the keyboard... you mean to tell me there is a simpler way to get into it?

You don't actually need F6, that's an internet legend. F1-F5 will do it.

Do I still have to cross my fingers?

    Couldn't hurt.

If you have brittle bone crossing your fingers might hurt.

Wait, did you press all the keys at once, or in sequence (holding down alt and then the Fn Keys)?

Yes, but from my experience, the bashing-cranium-on-keyboard method is the most effective of activating it. :p

    In a sequence.

Maybe you are doing it too fast.
Press Alt+F1 then Alt+F2 and go on...

Opps...my apologies; didn't realize that your question was directed to splash1---thought you were asking for help on accessing the debug mode yourself. :o

This has been a bad day for my English for some reason...

Y'know, I'd have thought the debug menu would've allowed for more intricate debug features... like forcing Max to give his hints without me having to wait to hear his amusing quips (something I do after I beat the episode, to try and bleed every ounce of humor I can from it!)

The debug menu isn't really there for player convenience :)

You dropped the ball there, guys... Sam & Max has *so* lost my GOTY votes this year :p

I love that splash1 actually tried it. Man I learned that move back in the days of tricking people into letting me dupe their items in Diablo 2 :)
