Rank the five episodes of this game from best to worst.

edited January 2013 in The Walking Dead
I can't opine yet since I've only gotten past Episode 1. But I think it's quite a game so far :) For those who have played the whole thing through, how would you rank the five episodes?

Episode 1 - "A New Day"
Episode 2 - "Starved for Help"
Episode 3 - "Long Road Ahead"
Episode 4 - "Around Every Corner"
Episode 5 - "No Time Left"

Post your rankings from best to worst. Thanks!

EDIT (01.09.2013): Current standing from all posts if we put scores to from best 5 pts to worst 1pt

Episode 5 - "No Time Left" = 115 pts.
Episode 2 - "Starved for Help" = 106 pts.
Episode 4 - "Around Every Corner" = 97 pts.
Episode 3 - "Long Road Ahead" = 68 pts.
Episode 1 - "A New Day" = 64 pts.

From best to the worst. In my opinion, of course.

I felt like 3 tried to condense everything too much for later episodes, so that previous choices didn't have to matter as much.

Not too much action in Episode 3 and it's one of those Episodes where they kill off most of the main characters. (TV Series= Final Episodes of Season 2)

I personally found each episode to outdo the last one, with No Time Left capping everything else off in the most memorable way possible. I also didn't hate Around Every Corner like everyone else did, but....

A few topics here, and on gameFAQ's. In other words, people who don't like Molly or a little hope in their zombie tales. :p

All are good, but I'd rank them 1>5>2>4>3.

    Mine would have to be
    5-3-4-2-1
They're all great but I felt that 5 and 3 were especially emotional and well done

    Edit: Explanations-

2 just was really fun to play. Felt like I was actually investigating something. The atmosphere especially in Brendas house (lightning effects etc) and the Meatlocker was really great.
4 I liked the whole Crawford stuff and meeting interesting new people, The church-hopper etc really got me curious.
1 Not much gameplay but good start to the series. I especially liked the answering machine scene and the whole arguments at the beginning of the pharmacy.
5 Very disappointed to find out who the stalker/kidnapper was. Felt weaksauce. Also so much emphasis on climbing and jumping right after you cut off his arm (or not). Kenny sacrifice makes no sense if you went the Ben route. This episode solely and entirely benefits from the last 10 minutes. The scene with Clem is obviously amazing.
3 All the sudden deaths of Carley/Doug+Katjaa+Duck within mere minutes felt forced. Also boring scenery/location. Constant walking in Corridors. Running back and forth the train was really tedious and boring. Overall by far the worst episode in the series.

Episode 1 was pretty meh to me because a lot of it was learning how to play.

I loved two and all the surprises just kept me into it. 4 was awesome with the chances of hope just all suddenly getting shattered and drama, 5 due to the action and emotional scenes, 1 was well thought out but the lack of direction sometimes stumped players and the constant drugstore going through to open a DOOR on hinges kinda seemed... idk tedious. Same goes for 3, some of favorite characters died (Carley and Katjaa) and everything just kinda fell apart. The group became so small and it all seems to be on Ben's head when other people such as Lilly stopping the supply trade instead of acting like nothing happened and sneak out, shooting Carley/Doug with no evidence, and not wanting to leave the RV even though they knew they were on constant watch. The train part was repetitive and annoying, and Charle's part wasn't well thought-out. One man in an abandoned train seemingly once surrounded by walkers (blood stains, car wrecks, etc) it made little sense how he managed to survive. His character wasn't far-developed, and right when you start to like him, he was killed off (again Ben -_-). for me ep 3 wasn't as good as the others. Felt rushed when I wanted time, and had time when it wasn't necessary. But still an awesome season by telltales and can't wait for another

    5>4>3,2>1 ...in my opinion.Episode 2 and 3 share the same place. :)

    5>3>4>1>2

I do believe that the reason I ranked Episode 1 and 2 so low was that I already watched someone else play it before buying the season pass and playing it for myself. I already knew what was gonna happen the first 2 episodes, but the 3 remaining episodes were brand new experiences.

"Oh... This is when they find Mark..." :(

So pretty much Episodes 1 and 2 didn't stand out as much to me in the end.

3>5>4>2>1 i wouldn't call any of 'em bad though, lovin ALL of them, Ep 3 just had some *good* moments, the others hadn't or had less, like teaching Clem to shoot, cutting hair, or that scene in the RV also it was very intense (at the side of the road, or later in the forest u know what i mean...) 5 was sad as hell and i think most of the people who played it will agree it's one of the best. 4 was intense to me as i really had worried for clem while i was down in the sewers... episode 2 had it's moments and 1 did too, just not as many rememberable ones as 3,5 and 4 had, but that's just my opinion.

I liked all of them except three. Five, Two, and Four did losing people well. Three didn't. In three it seemed that they were just killing as many people off as possible in a bad attempt at drama. It just got cluttered. I didn't feel sad about losing Katjaa, Duck, Lily, and Carley/Doug. I just felt annoyed, and a bit shocked at first. Then they introduced new characters badly to make up for what we lost, without giving us any reason to feel emotionally invested in them.

    5>2>1>4>3

5&2 built up an incredible atmosphere.
1&4 were very good, but not as emotional.

In 3 everything just happened a bit two fast, maybe could have done with being split into two. After what happened to Carley and Duck/Katjaa i was probably the most down i've ever been playing a video game and had little time for getting the train to work while Omid and Christa just felt like "replacements" and i resented them for while because of it. It also made everything up until that point feel somewhat irrelevant.

Good idea. So I tallied all the votes so far (I count 30 votes so far), here is how they rank:

    Episode 5 - "No Time Left" = 115 pts.
    Episode 2 - "Starved for Help" = 106 pts.
    Episode 4 - "Around Every Corner" = 97 pts.
    Episode 3 - "Long Road Ahead" = 68 pts.
    Episode 1 - "A New Day" = 64 pts.

    3. Episode Two
    4. Episode One
    5. Episode Four

    I'd say 5>2>1>3>4
I thought 4 dragged on FOR SO LONG. I was playing through episodes 4-5. I started 4 at 5:00 and was finished at like 8:30. Then I got to episode 5 and I was done at 9:30...
I really loved episodes 2 and 5. 5 was a short but sweet ending to Season 1, while 2 was just plain up awesome with the last half hour of it.

Episode 1 wasn't the worst, it was still introducing us to the TWD universe and shows how quick you have to be to make choices.
I love episode 2 though, shows how if you disagree with Kenny once, he'll turn his back on you =.= still love my bro xD
