How many times have you played...

edited January 2013 in The Walking Dead
How many times have you played season 1. If you have played more than once, how do your experiences compare? And was it just as fun the second, third, or fourth time you played?

E: How many of you have played it again since you've answered this poll? I am currently playing for the third time. Just can't get enough..

I got my fiancé to watch the second half of episode 5 and I was afraid she wouldn't like it, but then we saved Clem from Campman, I turned to walk out and she yells " aren't you going to give her a hug!?" Lolol. 15 min. Into it and she already loved Clem. :)

    3 times. Doing everything possible.

I played through once with my dad and played through halfway with my friend until my save game got corrupted

So I've played it about 1.7 times as my second save corrupted just before crawford

    Not lying...
I've played it through (all of it) 10 times.
The experience always gets better :D

I only finished the season one time. But, I think I may start my second playthrough very soon.
  • edited January 2013
I just finished my second a couple of days ago. Starting my 3rd tonight!

I lost count. Probably at least five. And I still haven't gone searching for Clem on my own or not shown the bite yet.

Played through completely 6 or 7 times. Actually only 2 playthroughs were intended (2 opposite choices). But had to replay again and again to get footage.

    About 3 times now.
  • edited January 2013
    1. Main playthrough
    2. Silent Lee
    3. Opposite Lee
Actually I've played a little more then that. I've gotten through the first three episodes of the game like four times for my friends (they already played through those episodes so they didn't want to do them again). I, for the most part, did the same strategy I did with my main playthrough for their game.

Episode 1 three times, 2-4 two times (thank you bug) and 5 once.

I feel as if I experienced my story in a second life kinda. If I were to play it again I'd be tearing the path I created... hard to explain lol.

If telltale is going to somehow transfer your choices to season 2, how will they do so if you have played more than once and made different decisions?

Possibly like in Mass Effect - by allowing you to chose the save file for import.

And answering the topic: I've played it once. What happened with my Lee can't be changed by me, I like to keep my story clear. But I've watched other people play it differently on YouTube.

Twice(for now!) My first one was mainly my personal and emotional choices, putting myself in Lee's shoes and choosing what I think is right.
My second one was pro-Kenny. Love the bro speech xD
Starting my third one soon, probably a Scumbag Lee c:

Only once so far...tried to start a second one, but I'm still not over the ending. Gonna take a little while to get past that. Mark of a fantastic game.
  • edited January 2013
Finished the game once, but I've played the first episode about 4 times, because of savegames errors.
  • edited January 2013
Twice. First, main playthrough and "canon" of all. Second, completely siding with Kenny with the goal of hearing his friends to the end speech at the end of episode 4. It was totally worth it.
  • edited January 2013
I'm working on getting to the friend speech right now. I can't wait to hear that sh!+.

Played through episodes 1-3 three times, once with my natural instincts of play, once with silent/jerk Lee, because I thought it would be fun to see the differences. Had to delete the game and download again and start from scratch because of download problems with episode 4, so I played 1-3 the same way I had in my initial play through. Played episodes 4 & 5 once. I think I will play again right before season 2 comes out.

I played it twice, but only because the game lost track of my saves, so I made an almost identical one for replacement.

I've played a couple times by choice, and a few because of bug issues. I've got about 65 hrs clocked in on steam. :)

I've played it trough three times on my xbox 360 & once on my ps3.

    Three times

    My main playthrough.

Another one where I thought I could change the ending by doing the right choices so the stranger didn't hate me and kidnap Clem (I couldn't, the bastard accused me of things I couldn't control).

And a final best with a little of scumbag lee :D.

    twice
  • edited January 2013
Twice, even though not completely. I stopped when Kenny dies. After that, it's pretty much the same thing.
  • edited January 2013
Tons of times, I know I played the first two episodes at least 15 times.

lee has different things to say to the stranger and to Clementine in the final scene based on your different choices after the kenny exit scene

Or he may be totally mute. You never know.

Twice. Cried the first time, like a man. Didn't the second time.
  • edited January 2013
I've played it 3 times all the way through.

I'm working on a 4th time; just finished episode 1.
  • edited January 2013
Once though I plan on playing again soon, when I've got more time on my hands. Want to get through as many episodes in one day without a break.
  • edited January 2013
I tend to go back every now and then, but within making a new gamesave/profile because I don't want to wipe out the original way I played as.

Probably around 5 or more times now.

Just finished my 3rd play through. Ending wasn't any easier to swallow.
  • edited January 2013
Twice Overall, although I played No Time Left 3 times (once for each playthrough and an additional time to see how Ben reacted to cutting off my arm).
  • edited January 2013
    On the second run :)
  • edited January 2013
Nice! I'm on episode 5 of my third play though. I've been team Kenny this whole time and he is now my favorite character.
  • edited January 2013
played it 4 times now, the first one was the best one, the second one was a little like the first one, the third one was with friends, I let them chose, wanted to see what they'd do, and 4th time I played like a saint (basically asked myself "what would Clementine do?" when it came to decisions, and tried to be the nicest guy on earth) I'm currently planing on doing a "silent/mute Lee" walkthrough and a "badass mode" walkthrough. I also watched Pewdiepie's let's play, found it interesting to see how he'd react in certain situations, compared to how I did.

I love watching Let's Plays for The Walking Dead, especially ones where they have a webcam on. The whole RV argument sequence is a great spot to watch. From Lilly snapping to Duck's bite to the nightmare sequence often gives people some pretty intense reactions.

I'm about to try a hardass playthrough. Be brutally honest with people, kill anyone in the way and focus purely on survival.

I finished the whole game once, with the episodes popping up. Also, while i was w8in' for next episode, i was playing in previous as a Dick, stopped at the 3rd. (Still, some things i wouldn't dare)

And i completed the 1st episode 3 times to see all the possibilities. It was just a sciencific research.

So it's just 1 time for me.
