What if you met Christa and Omid in Macon?

edited January 2013 in The Walking Dead
Kenny argues with Christa just about as much as he did with Lilly for over three months and she cares for her dad like Christa with Omid. I thought of this and asked myself; What if instead of Lilly and Larry, you meet Christa and Omid at the pharmacy along with Carley, Glenn and Doug?

Do you think things might've been different with them or would they not make much of a difference?

Things would have been a lot more peaceful. Kenny didn't like Lilly's controlling nature, Christa would not be like that. She would have been more like Carley who wasn't afraid to speak her mind on group matters but is not going to try and take on a leader role. Without Larry everyone's mood would be better cause based on EP2's beginning it seems nobody got along with Larry and his constant negative attitude, Omid is the exact opposite.

So basically Kenny would be the leader, Lee his second in command. Carley and Christa would also be right up there in matters concerning the group while Katijaa, Omid, Ben, and Doug would just go with whatever they decide.

Definitely. It would be more of a nicer place since Christa and Omid are more positive than Larry and Lilly.

Im thinking that a lot of the games deaths wouldn't have happened.

Carley obviously, maybe Duck and Katjaa since without Lilly Ben might have had the guts to confess earlier. From there who knows. Would the extra eyes (especially Carley) have saved Lee from his bite or stopped Clem being kidnapped in the first place? Could they have kept the boat? Impossible to say for sure but its a real possibility.

Duck may have cause problems later on though without a safe place like the motor in for his "enthusiasm" Not to mention you'd certainly be struggling for boat space. I'm imagining between 6 and 8 survivors for 5 places.

Oh yeah I forgot, without Lilly and Larry they would not have stayed at the motor in for 3 months. Who knows what could have happened if they decided to take the RV sooner or some other transportation. They probably never would have gone to Savannah if it weren't for the train, and they never would have found the train if they didn't have the bandit attack at the motor inn 3 months later.

I think Christa and Omid would've changed things for the better if they were at Macon in place of Lilly and Larry. I know Christa has a bit of a tough attitude reputation, but it's a different type of tough attitude than Lilly. Christa voices her opinion, but she's rarely the "my way or the highway" type and doesn't explode in uncontrollable anger. Omid is also someone who softens up Christa, while Larry has the opposite effect on Lilly (remember in the pharmacy Larry even eggs Lilly on to be even harder on the others in episode 1).

I know this may not be the case for every player, but in my playthrough I've always got Christa and Omid to trust Lee, and they definitely seem like people who won't turn their back on a friend.

And like Yertos said, meeting Christa and Omid could totally change what happened, primarily Carley, Katjaa, and Duck surviving and the all the opportunites that would open up.

They'd be dead, like everyone else you met in Macon.

it wouldn't be as intense as it was with lilly and larry

I'd certainly be nicer to them than I was to Lilly, and especially Larry.

I don't think anything would have worked out like It did in the normal game. They would have no reason to get in the pharmacy. They would have stayed in the drug store a few days I think and then try to leave, given, that Lee, Carley, Glenn and probably Christa, too (I'd think she'd do it) fetch some gass and such stuff. Christa was most likely not pregnant back then. Maybe they would wait another week and then get to Savannah or the coast or something. Maybe the train was not crashed then? Maybe it was, we don't know. But let's just say it wasn't and guess they took some repaired cars to get there and it took half a day or something to get to savannah. I think they would be there while the Crawford guys would be still hitting the fan, and I don't know how that would have worked out for them, to be honest.

I think bad. We saw what people did in the Comics. Killin' A and G.
