Do you think that maybe the stranger from ep 5 on was taken and killed by the St John bothers for food?

Huh. I didn't think about that. It's a possibility that they did.

It's a possibility, but given he was a young boy there probably wasn't a lot of meat to him. Remember them saying not to "keep" Clementine, because of her size?

I agree - it's not really worth it to them to keep a kid because of how little meat he would provide. I think it's possible the bandits got him though, like they got Jolene's daughter.

I don't think they took him. I think he went missing while we were on the farm, as we were on our way back to the motel when we found the car. But he could have got caught in a trap and got ate by zombies.

    Most likely bandits or walkers.

I like to think so. Probably not but since there is no direct answer to what happened I'll pretend the brothers got to him, or got caught in a bear trap.

If he got caught in a trap, it's likely the Stranger would have found his corpse in the trap. More likely he wasn't held in one place.

I think a walker probably got him.

I'm going with walkers as well. Although he went hunting so he should have had a weapon like a rifle, don't the two brothers have rifles? Not unusual for a farm with livestock to have shotguns but not really rifles. They could have took the boy and his guns, which is why the stranger doesn't have anything but a sidearm when you meet him.

Walkers got him most likely. There are really only 4 possibilities of what happened to him:

#1 he survived on his own (extremely unlikely), #2 bandits found and killed him (very unlikely), #3 St. Johns caught him and used him for food (unlikely, see comments above) or #4 zombies got him (extremely likely).

I think while the bandits were assholes they wouldn't kill a young boy just for fun. Let's say they find him, do I expect them to help him, give him food, shelter etc? Most likely not. Most likely they would say "bad day for you son" and move on. Maybe even search him for food or valuable items but that'd be it. St. Johns was answered. There was no way he could survive on his own.

I think he got killed by zombies most likely, or maybe he managed to hide somwhere and died of dehydration or even starvation if he had water.

You don't need an answer for everything, for Christ's sake. You don't need to pretend to know what happenned.

He could've been eaten by the St. John's. The only reasons they didn't want to eat Clem were that there were other, bigger, choices and they could only keep one 'cause they couldn't risk having more than 1. If the son was the only 'meat' around...they might've eaten him.

Hmmm, hadn't ever thought about it - but it does seem possible.

I never made this connection, but it does seem interesting. While I do agree that it is far more likely he was killed by walkers, it's still possible he was capture by the St. Johns or a similar group of cannibals. The St. Johns did say to get rid of Clementine, but they also had a big group of people captive already and she was worthless in comparison. For all we know, too, the stranger's son could've been husky or muscular, or at least better than nothing if they had no meat at the time they found him. Or, they could've killed him only to later realize he wasn't worth it, and didn't want to make the same mistake with Clementine. Interesting theory.

Could've been the boy in the attic. He went atlanta, zombies noticed him so he fled into the house where the couple were. Eventually zombies got into the house and they locked him in the attic, while they went to their bed and killed themselves.

The boy in the attic was the couple's son, not Adam.

I'm still wondering how it's possible to lost your son like that? You're both hunting TOGETHER, it's not like he fell off a cliff or anything.
I'm pretty sure walkers got the boy. Same way his wife and daughter died the day after leaving him.

I want to know why no one was watching the car. You have EVERYTHING in it.

Or at least took the damn keys with them.

No, leave them in the car with the car sounding to attract walkers, bandits, and lord knows what else out there.

My guess is that the father probably shot some game, but that it didn't die right away. The wounded animal takes off, with the two chasing it through the woods and/or following its blood trail. They get into some thick underbrush and get separated, but dad has tunnel vision on the potential meal and doesn't immediately realize they are separated. The kid sees a walker or something else that spooks him, and worsens his situation by running and getting completely lost.

Meanwhile dad manages to catch up with the now dead or dying deer, begins to butcher it for its meat, and realizes his son is no longer following behind him. He goes back to search for his son and never finds him, with the boy most likely ending up being killed by a walker either at some point during the search, or not long after.

    Wasn't the stranger's name Adam?

No , his son's name was Adam .

It's actually kinda funny, we know his wife was called Tess, his daughter, Elizabeth and his son, Adam but we don't know the stranger's name.

I don't think it's important . Maybe his name is George Campman or something .

I know right, funny that there names would show up in to of the biggest games the next year, coincidence, maybe.
  • Two things I must point out:

    1. The couple who committed suicide were NOT Fivel's parents. They broke through the wall in the attic and went into the place next-door, didn't they? They'd have noticed the dead couple when searching the mansion earlier, otherwise.

    2. I was shocked by the person who said the bandits probably wouldn't do anything to a young boy. Look what they did to Jolene and her little girl. They were monsters.
