Has anyone made an edit of the TWD game that plays like a continuous film/tv series?

edited January 2013 in The Walking Dead
Does one exist? Like, an edit of the game without the picking of dialogue options and editing out of all player interface/interaction?

Something you can sit through and watch as if you were watching a film/tv show?

If there is, can someone share the like (I would assume it would be on youtube if it did exist)

Good idea, but I think it may be deleted due to copyright issues though.

I don't think this would be very fun, because then the "film" would make desicions that you wouldn't.

^ I dunno... If various gameplay videos and the like still exist on youtube (i.e. - Adventures of Mute Lee), I don't see how something like this would be deleted.

Ah yeah, didn't think of that.
But you can make 'clickable' YouTube videos. That way you could recreate the entire game on YouTube, without the searching / point and click options though...

No, you're right. It would be shit.

It being fun or interactive isn't the point. The point is simply that you can just sit back, relax and watch the whole game from start to finish.

just watch a lets play without commentary, there are plenty. I see zero reason to cut out the player interactions as that would just have too many skipped parts. you would miss out on major story if you cut them out, as time doesn't freeze when you get options. often times people will talk in the background etc. and all the quicktime events are rather important to see.

    So, I see no point.

It would be awesome if they implemented a feature into season 2 that does this automatically.

I tried removing dialog options and player interactions by mixing the sound/music/effects with the camera, and choosing the most chosen choices, but its hard as hell to edit without extracting anything...and extracting files isn't that easy when it comes to TWD.... :( A pity though,it would be a great movie. :)

    EDIT

P.S. If anyone here has any tricks on extracting TWD's super-sealed ttarch files without using Telltale Explorer, please let me know. :) I would really appreciate it.

Like a theater mode. That would be pretty cool.

That recut is terrible. When the zombie appears on the road, it cuts to Lee, then cuts back before you've really made out what's going on.

Neat idea, but impossible to pull off without getting really weird.

Even if were like that, it would basically be the exact same as the game. Just on YouTube. You could click the annotations to take you to another video with the situation, that's just playing the game on internet. Plus you'd have to upload HUNDREDS of videos to keep up with the diversity of desicions that people make. There is also no way to keep track of the desicions people made on YouTube. So hence, it would be pretty much impossible.
