How do you think the story will continue in Season Two?

edited February 2013 in The Walking Dead
I've seen quite a few posts on here about 'ideas' or 'thoughts' or 'fanfics' for Season Two, but I haven't seen anything straight-up about what road you think the creators will take to continue the story-line.

When you go right to thinking about Season Two, what do you think about, story/plot/character/setting/time-wise?

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing it set about a year or two in the future, and playing as either Clementine or maybe even Molly. I really feel like Molly could be a HUGE part of Season Two, seeing as she was such a unique character, that was given only a single episode.

Unique character my ass. Molly was the simplest character in the game! She was a zombie slaying, free running, bad ass with a cool weapon. Doesn't take much effort to come up with a character like that. Pretty much every zombie movie/game has a character like Molly.

    These are all predictions.
    • Story: it'll follow a group trying to find a suitable place to call home.
    • Plot: they'll run into more crazies along their journey, perhaps another Crawford / Woodbury / Saviors group. Maybe they'll run into a group that is actually sane, like the Hilltop Colony.
    • Characters: it'll follow a new group. Clementine, Omid, and Christa will join said group. Hopefully Molly as well. I'd imagine Omid and Molly (if she appears) will perish over the course of season two, perhaps Christa too once she has given birth (I can't see Telltale killing a pregnant lady... shuddup Anna Correa).
    • Setting: I'd like to see more forests in season two.
    • Time-wise: it'll take place right after the events of season one, so maybe three and a half months after the start of the apocalypse. There might be a time skip as well. Telltale can't make the game go past the comics though, it might clash with canon.

Well, she may be cliche, but it explains why she's alive. When I look at characters like Omid and Christa, I really can't understand why they're alive. Not being mean. But, when it's an apocalypse, there's a REASON most people are dead!

Yeah i agree. Omid should've been gone a long time ago. Perhaps they were in a group prior to episode 3, but I doubt it.

It's funny, this was actually addressed in the game.

"I'm surprised you guys made it this far, you're both surprisingly normal."

Their strategy was too stay away from other groups of survivors. It's smart actually, walkers aren't anything too worry about as long as you don't allow yourself to get trapped. Other survivors are what you need to worry about.

    "Dead get 'em?"
    "... No."
    "Ah, livin' got 'em."

I don't know why they approached Lee's group... Maybe it's because they found out Christa was pregnant recently and thought a group would then be necessary.

Similarly I think they always kept moving.

"Always keep moving... You'll want to find a place like the motor inn, but that's not safe. It's just a target... Move, as much as you can."

True, I remember all of those now. But, yeah. I think that her being a bit off of normal is what makes me like her. She's not full on 'Altair'ing the shit, though, or Frank Westing it. But remember, she couldn't even stand up to one zombie on her own, so all she has is her agility, really.

... Are you talking about Molly? Molly took out like four walkers with relative ease until she got in trouble so... Lol.
