A few things for you to try. I'm going to assume you're not using any special downloading programs beyond what's provided with the web browser you're using.
Clear our your browser's cache, close all browser windows, open up your browser, then try downloading again. I'd give you detailed instructions, but I don't know which browser or operating system you're using.
If that doesn't work, try using another browser. If that works, then there's something fishy with that browser. If not, there's something else in play.
In any case, report back if any of this has fixed the problem or not.
