Season 2 playable character discussion
I really want the new PC to last a lot longer than 1 season,I would like to see them survive for at least 3-5 seasons, depending on whether or not Telltale makes that many seasons, what do you think?

As for the PC, I don't know. I don't want them to last too long. I guess 2 or 3 seasons might be okay, but I don't know if I really want to have to play the same man or woman for 3 seasons. I know you can always restart a save file, but imagine if you, say, choose an option you think would be correct, but it comes out differently. (I can't cite a specific one, because I always went and changed it immediately, but every once in a while I would choose an option for Lee wherein the words were the same as I'd say, but he was a total asshole about it and said and meant them differently than I did.) And you decide to play through anyway, and a season and a half later, you realize it's had this horrible impact and you want to change it but it'd basically mean having to start over.
Also, after 2 seasons of the same PC, how many new people are we going to be meeting, how many have died, how new can it still feel?
I think one of the few and simplest ways to do a reoccurring PC would be if TTG had a new PC every season (not all of whom die) who come together for the last season or two. Maybe they're warring, maybe they're working together, hell, maybe they're even just one giant group and you can pick who you play as. IMO, it would be a bit stale if we had 2 seasons of "Oh no, New PC has lost a group member, has found new love, has undergone something awful, has found a place of hope."
I guess the other way to make a reoccurring PC work would be if it was a 2-parter season. But that kind of defeats the point of a season :P
Warring against a group you have spent an entire season getting to know would be devastating. I like it.
Haha I thought that it would be interesting, too!
It just goes to show how desperate we are for s2 news.
It's the truth. And considering how amazing Season 1 was, can you blame us?
