As you can see Telltale Games is one of the studios which are developing for the upcoming ps4.

We could have a next-gen The Walking Dead !

I can't imagine Clementine with textures of Crysis 3 :D

Now seriously: this just means that a further "Telltale", games will be published on the PS4 including.

I hope not. My wallet can't be stretched far enough to accommodate buying a PS4.

In the past, I've heard so many rumors and seen so many fakes that I refused to believe that the PS4 would even exist, but now that I've seen the preview of the real deal, my first words were "...Wow. Now that was cool."

That being said, I now believe that season 2 of the walking dead game will be released for the PS4 since they'll both be out sometime by the end of 2013

    LMAO Riadon, nice picture!

Maybe Fables and King's Quest will be on the PS4 too.

The Walking Dead (TTG's) is a stylised game which doesn't require the best graphics in the world, because stylised are different and can look either good or bad, from a person's opinion.

Just gimme Season 2 already on 360/PS3.

The fact that the PS4 won't be backwards compatible is a major strike against the system, IMO. If I could play all my Playstation games on a single console from PS1 onwards, I'd buy the whole kit 'n' caboodle in a flash, personal budget be damned.

    Lee: Which way out?
    Clementine: Through there.

I hope it also will be on the PS3.

I mean, Telltale is probably going to build these games to run on the iPad so they can probably run on all the current platforms + PS4.

    Awesome!

I wonder how The Walking Dead saved games would work though. Like, would PS3 saves from season 1 be able to transfer to a PS4 for season 2?

Alternatively, maybe the PS3 season 1 owners could be given a code to download season 1 on PS4. :)

It has been announced for PS4 that it can't play backwards digital or retail games, so you'll have to have your PS1/PS2/PS3 to play your previous games.

Yeah, huge bummer, so keep the console if you planned on trading it in for a discount.

I'm trading in, sorry for my old games, but I can't afford it otherwise. PS3 would prob sit and collect dust truthfully. Shame :/ But I don't play my PS2, and I have maybe 50 games xD. Trade in it is!

Well, I'm no expert in regards to gaming, but I've heard that the PS2 remained hugely popular after the release of the PS3 and it took some time before it started losing that popularity. Maybe the same will happen with the PS4. Heck, i still have my PS2 and play it every now and then.

I know i won't be trading mine in. I couldn't afford a PS4 at the moment regardless, and there are too many great games i have yet to experience.

I hope season 2 is on this gen tech.... or it'll be years before I get it.

I like my consoles to mature a bit before I buy them........ (2-3 years so you have a decent library to choose from)

PS2 had a huge impact, but this time, PS3 doesn't come close and when PS4 takes over the third instalment of the PlayStation home console, it will be discountinued without support of 10 years or more.

Most likely PS3 will be used as a Blu-ray Player and for some gaming, I suppose.

Sjees, I hope I'll still be able to run season 2 (or 3) on my laptop if the game is gonna be focused on PS4.
I don't have the specs for a Crysis 3 and beyond...

But it still wouldn't work with Season 1 Game Add-ons because they're not backwards compatible with PS4.

Telltale Games would have to develop Season 1 again for PS4 and that takes time which can be used for Season 2 and beyond.

I'm hoping Xbox 720 is backwards compatible because I don't see why not, and recently there's been a super game sale. Batman Arkham Asylum is almost free, that's how cheap it is.

Hopefully PS4 will sort out all the lag problems TWD had on the PS3.
