Clem and Lee's reunion felt very strange...

edited February 2013 in The Walking Dead
I mean, when Clem and Lee reunite, she doesn't wonder where the others are. She doesn't ask of Molly, or Ben, or Kenny. Nor Vernon, or Christa and Omid. She doesn't seem to worried about Lee's arm, off or not. Just "Oh, missing an arm? That's weird... and scary." Was I the only one that was weirded out by what was going on? I mean, he was all alone. What is you guys' opinion(s)?

I also find it a bit strange, but oddly it never crossed my mind during the actual gameplay, not even after i finished the game and turned it off.

Being in an empty motel with hundreds of walking corpses outside(who might try to come inside from the gunshot) may not have been the ideal place for chit-chat. Lee even tells Clem they'll have a talk after they get somewhere safe, so maybe she assumed he was going to explain why he was alone.

This is sort of similar to Katjaa's death. No one mentions anything after shooting Duck. Who told everyone Katjaa killed herself? Had to be Lee, but i suppose we can just assume they talked about it in between the transition.

Yeah, but they KNOW she died. It was obvious to all

I honestly don't think it mattered to her, at least not at that time.

I think she was just happy to be with lee again and know that she's in safe hands again. I'm sure she would of asked later but at the current time, it really wasn't important.

This. She was just happy to see Lee and trusted him enough. I'm sure if they escaped the hotel and such alive, then Lee would tell her where the others were or what happened to them. At the time Lee just wanted to get her safe and she just wanted to get out of there.

Eh, I guess. I think it would have made the ending even sadder. "What... What happened to the others? Molly?" "She left..." "Vernon?" Stole our boat..." "Kenny, Ben!?" "Dead..." "Even christa and omid?..." "I don't know. I told them to wait for us by the train. They could be anywhere..."

Maybe, whe she saw Lee in such a state, she already understand that he was the last survivor of a group?

But he wasn't. Christa and omid are, until the last 10 mins or so, confirmed alive, and I can see little reason as to how they died. Molly is unknown, same as vernon(who I saw as part of the group even though he leaves with a traitorous remembrance). And of some players, their lee mentioned Kenny could have made it out. So... From the end of episode 4 the only one we know as dead is Ben, and of course the stranger.

Well the there wasn't a lot of calm moments, she and Lee were focused on getting out of there. It wasn't the place to have a discussion.

When you can tell her to "find Omid and Christa" she probably takes the hint about why you only mentioned those two.

Worth noting that she's only known Omid and Christa about 4/5 days by the end of the game. Molly and Vernon were only ever passing through rather than being a full member of the group.

Of the people that she settled down with in the motel for months everyone she knew is either dead or presumed dead.

How did she know that they are alive? Clementine see that Lee had come alone, thousands walkers around, and Lee looks bad, and stained with the blood of walkers, that's why Clem and thought that they are the last who are still alive.

Would you think that? It isn't the last time Lee has been on his own. Third in two episodes lol. And still, you'd think she'd of at least brought it up? I mean almost as soon as you make it back to the house if you dropped Ben and/or lost molly she'll immediately ask where they are/what happened. I'm not saying how it was was bad, just that it didn't make sense, for Clem's character is the innocent, naive type character. Caring and thoughtful. Like as soon as Clem saw Lee alone, mybe armless with blood covering him, she'd ask that or wonder how everything is. She didn't know Vernon stole the boat. Yet she doesn't seem concened. Even if she could assume everything, which I doubt so because as intelligent as a video game-made 9 year old can be, I don't think she'd fully understand.

I think all she cared about at that moment was seeing Lee again and getting the hell out of the Marsh House.

When playing all I thought in "No Time Left" was: "Please, Clementine be safe..." I didn't think about anything else, and I think so did she, she only thought "Lee come safe me / Lee please be alive" The whole time, and when she saw him, nothing else mattered for the moment, and the very next moment, they already were outside, and the ending took place, so I think Lee would have told her, but later, in someplace safe.
