    Clem after S1 and why?

Leon S. Kennedy, he has experience with protecting little girls.

Whoever the PC is. Clementine was the best thing about S1, and I trust her safety with no one other than myself or herself.

I agree i was stuck feeling like lee was the only one worthy. Thats why i asked to see other thoughts.

Yeah my PC. MUST PROTECT the CLEMINATOR.

    New character.

Before episode 5, I wanted Vernon and his crew to take care of Clem.

Me myself as the new player character, or Daryl Dixon (joke, but he could do it...)
Hopefully no dipshit like Ben... (I like Ben by now, but he IS not capable of protecting anyone...)

Christa and Omid are my top pick if Clementine truly needs someone else to take care of her. They are both competent apocalypse survivors, they like kids, and they are kind (something that seems to be the first to go when s*** hits the fan). Clem knows these two, and as Lee suspects, Omid might be her favorite person. She would be comfortable staying with them.

However, I don't think Clem needs to be looked after the same way as in season 1. She's far more competent now (I hope). Any care she needs would be in the form of typical human needs; food, shelter, companionship, etc. She doesn't need a full-time guardian anymore, so in that regard, I say Clementine is Clementine's best bet for who takes care of her.

I would pick Christa and Omid obviously. We know them from the previous season, so we pretty much know how they act, and what kind of people they are. I don't know about other people, but to me, those are the people I would like to take care of Clementine.

I jumped around on the decision a lot.
I hesitated in giving Vernon any response about Clem because I still wanted to be there for her, but deciding while being bit was different. I ultimately told Omid and Christa to look after her, but afterwards I was desperate enough to consider letting the stranger take her. Then he started nuzzling that bag of his, so so much for that idea....

That would be ideal. Among everyone you meet they still managed to remain the most stable.

I wanted the option to tell Clem to find Molly
Molly is pretty good at surviving and Christa and Omid have their own problems...
Also Kenny I just don't trust him after the Larry incident and Lilly for the same reason
Also Clem is a little to gullible to look after herself on her own
So I guess Mollyor a New character if the new character is a capable and nice person

The only way i could see molly as a protaganist is if she is the caretaker of clem.
she's prolly the only character i've seen that could raise clem and teach her the survivor skills needed when the ZA stuff gets bad...and it always gets bad.
every group falls, so giving clem the survival skills of molly and some much needed extra cardio

RULE NUMBER 1 CARDIO...lots and lots and lots

i vote for a new group. Separate from this one. at the end of series 2 have two of our new survivors meet Clem in the field and that starts series 3. giving the gamers a break from the "nanny" role is good. It will also give the writers more diversity with the new story so we can have a greater impact on series 3. In series 2 if our choices dynamically change who survives to make it in series 3 we will be the ultimate deciders of who the two shadowy figures are.

    that'd be pretty Kool

christa and omid. i said they should take care of her in the attic, and i meant it. they're good people, and since they have their own child on the way, it's not like the burden of parenting is being thrust on them from out of nowhere (even if ti is a bit earlier than they expected)

    ^ *12 years from now*

Little Girl: "Hey mom, what is Clementine doing?"
Christa: "She's just remembering what today was."
Little Girl: "Is it her birthday...?"
Christa: "No... It was the day she met Lee."
    Girl: "Lee?"
*EPIC STORY OF THE CENTURY PLACED HERE*

Girl: "That guy sounds like a badass."

Real story right there :P I can kinda see something like that happening though, seeing as the 4 of them make it that long. I hope Clem never forgets Lee. :/ He never even got buried...

The reasons i wouldnt pick omid/christa are 1. Christa is pregnant(Death Sentence) 2. Omid isnt a Rick/Lee type character. He is small, uncordinated, tells shitty jokes when everything is falling down, and hasnt ever saved anyone to my knowledge. Do you think a pregnant woman and her lil bitch could protect clem against the herd or bandits? Omid couldnt even fight off one man much less 10. I bet doug would kick his ass. Yea clem likes them but thats not enough to say they are cut out for the job.

Omid and Christa, besides the fact that they could actually be something that resembles a family, they've done well enough by themselves since the poo hit the fan.

The fact they know how to actually avoid danger in addition to defending themselves is a plus, too. Insofar as their ability to keep the people they care about safe, they have a better track record than pretty much all of the other options, atleast that we can see. Molly lost her sister, Kenny lost his entire family, etc.

During episode 5, I told Christa and Omid that I wanted Kenny to take care of Clementine. He was my friend and it seemed like a good thing to do. I just wish that I could've told him that too. And then he sacrificed himself for Christa. Right now, I'd be okay if it was Christa and Omid or Molly.

I did the same 1st play through. If lee could of told kenny that i wonder how much would of changed.

The Black Knight should :D He has impenetrable armor! Not to mention a three-foot sword that can do long-distance attacks. Clem would be jusssssst fine ;) Oh and he is part dragon, so he'll live for centuries :P

All seriousness, should be Christa and Omid. I wanted Kenny to, but I just knew something was going to happen, and either way if he survives he'd still look after her like a godfather.

In the game, I originally said I wanted Kenny to take care of her, but after he made his epic sacrifice jumping into that pit for Christa, I told her and Omid that they would be great for her.

It's not a matter of liking them (I found them abrasive), it's about who's most willing and able to take care of Clementine and give her the support structure a kid her age needs. Everybody else we meet just seemingly has a worse track record when it comes to keeping those they care about safe. Christa and Omid are literally the only choice on the list that didn't lose someone under their care.

Poor Fluffy never stood a chance, what makes you think they will do better with Clementine:p

I really do not think there capable. Omid is constantly tryin to get christa to do the Group Thing because they are not gonna be able to do it alone when she is 5 6 7 8 9 months pregnant. So adding clem to the mix does not seem logical to me. They bring nothing to the table but burden. Clem would probably be better off alone. I cannot see Omid protecting Clem/Christa/Infant for 6 months or more with no help. One man would be hard for him to fight off much less ten. Nor do I see him feeding 4 people byhimself either. After Ken is lost Lee says that Omid may want different things than Christa. They cannot agree on the same course of action. Which is bad no unity. Christa is pregnant and she is not gonna be able to save anyone much less herself. I think they would be dead already if it was not for Lee/Kenny. My opinion.

You just really don't know. They've lasted longer than those of season 1, so take that for what it's worth. They've survived what most people couldn't have, and it sounds like they couldn't do it alone.

I'm starting to get that vibe that the baby isn't Omid's. He seems kind of oblivious. Christa doesn't want to speak of her being pregnant probably because it has nothing to do with him. They said they've been part of other groups, and have been through chaos. Who knows, maybe she got raped or attacked by a pedo or something and she never spoke of it. I don't see Omid as a person to be one to keep secrets, so I think he's fairly clueless on the situation.

Overall, I think you are underestimating them.

    .

Well that would make sense why he did not jump in the hole to save Christa. Ken/Lee had to save her. I mean what kinda man isnt gonna save his pregnant girlfriend. Or wait around to see IF someone else is gonna do it.

He probably didn't go down because of his busted leg. If he jumped down to boost her up, he knows she would refuse to leave without him, and they would both probably die.

As pointed out, they survived longer than the majority of the cast from Season 1. Everybody else has a worse track record. Molly? Failed to keep her sister safe. Kenny? Lost his entire family. Christa and Omid probably wouldn't have even been in danger if they hadn't met up with and joined Lee's group in the first place.

There's no way Clem or any kid would be better off on their own. Nevermind anything else, she literally can't even carry her own water. Basic survivalism, a person needs a minimum of a gallon of clean, fresh water per day, two gallons if physically active or in a warm climate (like say, Georgia). You should have atleast three days supply of water: 8 lbs. per gallon x 2 = 16 x 3 = 48 lbs. That's also assuming the water doesn't need to be boiled. Lee even remarks that Clem probably would've ended up like the kid in the attic if he hadn't come along.

As the saying goes "Survival is 90% mental", dehydration doesn't care how "badass" you think you are.

I understand that but Im jumpin without to much thought. It is my girl and my unborn child. Nuff said. What if Kenny was not a good guy and willing to risk it. Can never truly know what someone else is gonna do but I know what would do. If it was Clem in that hole. I bet Lee would be down in seconds even if Clem refused. Do not see it from Omid. If it was me my girl refuse all she wanted as im pushin her ass to safety. Busted leg or one arm im jumpin in.

He didnt know if they couldn't get her up, but omid is smart. He knew if he jumped down, he wasn't coming up. Kenny jumped down before he really had a chance to do it himself.
