The protagonist for Season 2..

edited April 2013 in The Walking Dead
Just assume that Telltale decided to use the protagonist from the remaining characters from Season 1..
Who would you choose to play for?

Eh heh...forgot this is not the spoilers forum...
    Where's Kenny!?

If you're going to rule him out on being dead then take Omid, Christa and Lilly out, because they all have a decently high chance of being dead as well. ;)

We are not even sure if the protagonist will be from those, you need to put an "Unknown" option to the poll.

makes sense for it to be clem...building her up in season 1 just to have her as an npc again ? or in it for like 5 minutes before she is kidnapped and we have to ' save her again' ?

cos no way they kill her till she's older..

I wouldn't be so sure. It was actually surprising when i saw some people that were completely unfazed when
Lee got bit because they were 100% certain he wasn't going to die, since he was the player character.
There is no plot armor in TWD...

    None of the above

    Agreed.

    Nota.

Yeah, none of the above. Especially not Clementine.
cos no way they kill her till she's older..

If they can break our hearts by killing who they killed, then they'd probably have no problem with ripping our hearts out and stomping on them by killing Clem.

killing clem = people will stop playing the game/ buying new episodes....thus tell tale loose money, don't get sales then don't do a season 3..

they could still win awards but that'll be it cos peopel will always brand them the company that killed clem..

lee was an adult totally different situation... adults die all the time but kids is rare..twd may of killed some kids but clem is closer to the player clem is in our hearts...

It wouldn't make much sense to play as Clementine, especially after that final scene with Lee where there was a bunch of "Clementine will remember" moments. My guess is that we will play as one of those figures in the hill.

I don't think we'll play as any already-established characters. They would feel too OOC if you made decisions for them that weren't something they'd normally choose.

That said, I do hope Lilly makes another appearance. Her story was very unfinished.

    Yess..
I personally think Kenny hasn't died too..
But I forget to add the option for him..
And the option for police officer from Episode 1..
Not the one who was driving the car, but the one who save you from walkers if you choose to go at night..
    Andre Mitchell isn't he?
It'll be cool to control him..

I wouldn't stop playing if clem dies, it's a zombie apocalypse. As Molly said, "In the end, the dead always win."

It is thoughts like that that make a crappy game. Let telltale do what they want with the storyline. Not playing the game just because Clem dies is a ignorant move. I loved lee, but I'm playing this series out. Them controlling all the aspects I the game is what made it game of the year. Either you want an awesome game, or a crappy game. The latter is where it will lead if you set all these walls with the makers of the game. I'd be upset in Clem died, I really would. I'd probably hate telltale's guts for awhile. Howvever I'd defintately play it again, and the next seasons. I doubt they would kill her, but if that ends up being their decision then let it be. Let them make the sequel to their own design. Then cry over it when it's all said and done. But putting a bubble over your favorite character won't make the game what it was last year. Give telltale a chance to blow your mind!

I'd only enjoy playing as Clem if she's much older than in season 1. Otherwise it'd just feel weird, playing as a little kid for hours and hours.
I'd rather go with a totally new character, but if I have to choose, either (older) Clem or Omid.

i said people not 'me/i' judging by what people have said on these forums..it'll happen and there'll be half a dozen threads popping up about clem's demise and how much the op hates ttg....threatens to boycott etc...

it happened for pretty much every death and then there's the bring back carley and doug threads...though the clem isn't dead/must return threads would be worse...

so you think what you want...

    Another season 2 protagonist thread...

Anyways, it's not going to be a character with a set personality. I hope.

If Clem isn't a main part in it I pass on buying and playing season 2.

Lol Not on tv I've wanted Rick dead this whole season.

How about a Crawford survivor instead? Crawford arc was undeveloped in s1. In that way we could explore a potentially great arc, bond with the new pc, while our tense thrill about clem-clem rises. But i am not sure if we could handle all that stress...

Clem-Clem could have a plot shield just like Carl. However, I would prefer her dead rather than amputated and psycho...

I fail to see how any person would want to play as Lilly. Different strokes, but I wouldn't even touch Season 2 if I had to play as such a despicable person, even in a zombie apocalypse.

I would play the game even if Clem wouldn't appear, I still love the walking dead for what it is, though no matter who we would get to play, and who our new friends would be, I would only have one question on my mind: "Where is Clem and how is she?"
There is no way they could make me care for anyone else as much as for her, I don't know how you all see it, but I cosider the after credit scene as a teaser for season 2, because they could have not shown it, it doesn't change the ending, in fact if there was no season 2 to come, it would make the ending worse, as it excludes a few if's.

Some people say it might be season 2's beginning, but I think it rather is somewhere inbetween, as
the Savannah area looked a bit different to me, less golden colored but more greenish, but that might just be something I've overseen, or I just don't remember it right, however she would have went to the train, or to the docks, or to the rooftops as we told her, and she probably did, and maybe she even found Omid and Christa, Molly or Kenny but after all those possibilities something happened so she had to leave Savannah or move away from the train, depending on your choices. We either see what happened there and then in the "bonus" Telltale promised, or not. Chances aren't too bad from my point of view. And I think Season 2 will take place around that after credit scene. So I personally count Omid and Christa out, they either never met Clem after the jewelry store, or they did and got seperated/died. I think it'll be one of those guys on the hill, that'll be our PC. That "teaser" wasn't made for fun I think
