Is there something wrong with my game?

After Episode 1, in the previews for Episode 2 it shows Ducks mom talking to you about what happened in Hershels farm. Sometimes she says "I never thanked you for looking after Duck" Other times she says "Don't repeat what happened at Hershels farm. You pick the kids this time" From the previews it looks like this conversation happens in the barn. In Episode 2 no matter how hard I look, I can't find the little circle thing that will let me talk with her. If you try to go in the barn before you go to the bandits camp, Lee doesn't go in. He just says something about taking turns sleeping in the barn. After you get back from the bandits camp, I guess there isn't a way to talk to Ducks mom. I know maybe I am playing it wrong and that is why I am not getting this scene with Ducks mom.

I think that is just a scene used only in the preview.

I don't remember that scene appearing outside of the preview, but Kenny should make a similar comment near the swing if you talk to him.

The previews tend to take a lot of liberties with how things unfold to make them more exciting. A lot of scenes that happen in the previews unfold differently in the actual episode and some of the dialogue you see doesn't actually appear in the episode they're previewing, probably do to changes, editing and such that happens between when the preview is made when the episode is complete. I wouldn't sweat it.

Remember the previews are just previews. It just give you a glimpse of what's to come.

I'm fairly certain that at least 80% of everything that happens in each preview does not occur in the same way in the actual episode(with several scenes that do not happen at all). It looks like the dialogue lines are re-recorded too, even when they're the exact same as they were in the preview.

For example, the strangers line in episode 4: "If i were you, I'd get out of the street. Now." is obviously spoken differently than in the preview even though nothing was changed about it.

They're just glimpses of the themes of the upcoming episodes, without spoiling anything about them.

Yeah, like Omid and Christa at the train station killing walkers all epically, then being like secondary characters. I was like... why are you on top the bridge? lol

Clementine asking if people get mad when they're scared, Ben shooting walkers with a rifle exclaiming 'This isn't happening!". It actually would have been neat to see Ben shooting something for a change. :p I think he does in the hallway shootout in episode 5 but he's mostly off camera while it happens.

Uh, Clem does say that. You have to say the right things though

What things? And additionally she and Lee have switched spots on the train, so it's still different.

True. I don't remember. It had to do with being a bad person. When talking of Lee's past, and you have to say things about it not mattering or something. idk, experiment! Haha, I may memorize lines, but not entire sequences!

The previews of each episode are basically a rough sketch of what's to come.

Remember when Ben shot a rifle?
