Would you like this?
Ok, so we all know that the TV show is not exactly the same as the comics, and that major departures can occur and new characters can arrive. I would love to see a Clementine type story rolled into the TV show. Let me explain my thoughts.
So Rick maybe Rick and Daryl decide to make a run into a town next season, for supplies and what not. They are cautiously making their way through this small town and a similar scene appears in the streets. A young girl, in ratty clothes is standing in the middle of the street. (Now this would bring back memories of Episode 1 of the TV show.) The two men start moving towards her, and Rick pulls up his gun and just before he pulls the trigger he hears her sniffling as if she is, or has been crying.
Rick lowers his gun but keeps it in his hands just in case and says "little girl?" This time, the little girl turns around and is alive. She explains that her father was bitten, handed her this 357 revolver and locked himself in the house to their right. Now Daryl and Rick decide they must take her with them to the group, and Daryl ends up being the "Lee" figure for this new little girl.
Now this would also allow Carl to have his relationship with this girl that he has with Sophia still in the comics. Plus I think having a little girl to watch over adds a lot of drama and suspense and emotion to anything, especially TWD.

Since you're talking of "father" and .357 revolver I take it you mean a random little girl, and yeah why not, would add much to the Daryl and Carl characters.
Yup, just some random little girl! Haha
Hopefully almost as cool a Clementine, not cooler, that's impossible, but so that we would like the character, because:
I don't like Carl much, to me he's annoying, I understand he went through a hell load of shit, and he lost much and he wants to "man up" to contribute to the group, but he should calm down.
Sophia
Agree almost 100% haha. I didnt mind Carl in season 1, hated him in season 2, Dont mind him in season 3. I think his behavior in season 3 is much better than in the past, he may be a little too BA at times, but after living a year in that universe he is bound to be cold, tough and emotionless.
I really hate that Sophia died in the TV series, but i understand how her death helped the show. I mean for me, Its my second favorite episode of the series when Sophia walks out of the barn, so much emotion.
But yeah, they need a Clementine type child to join the show, as you said, no one could be as good as Clem, but a normal cute little girl with daryl as the father figure would add tons to the show!
Yeah Carol could play the mother-figure, and a kid fits perfectly into the group.
You know what I like about the group? Their warmth, seriously in one of the recent episodes there was this comparison, you saw them sitting in the prison in dim light, and talking (or singing?), and those Woodberry people on the street, in that moment I thought, I'd rather be in prison with Rick's group, than in Woodberry, because except for Merle everyone there is quite decent and reliable, and that's the perfect environment for a kid to grow up, not that fancy mess called Woodberry, but the unpretentious, and safe prison, or wherever Rick's group will stay in future, they are good people, and they can take good care.
I'd like them to have a little girl in the show.
Uh... are you talking about the same prison group? Tyresse had a gun pointed in his face and a man who needed help was left on the side of the road(and got eaten alive later). They left Morgan too easily, and they are currently thinking about giving Michonne over. The same Rick who is kinda insane? I definitely think the prison is better than Woodbury, but atm neither is a great choice. The prison group is just starting to get over their recent troubles, and Rick with his sanity :P
Shit you're right totally forgot about that xD
Uhm... alright, despite Rick not being completly sane...
Let's add Rick to the "not-so-decent-and-reliable-list"
But I'm talking about Daryl, Glenn, Maggie, Hershel, Hershel's other daughter, Carol et cetera, they are good people, and they could take great care, and finally it seems like Glenn speaks up a little bit, and has a little leadership role in the group.
Yeah well... Shit's about to hit the fan. I see an end to the Woodbury/prison war soon. Which means casualties, and I don't mean to spoil, but in Talking Dead it was rumored Glenn might die. So there goes the temp leader while Rick needs a vacation. Not only that, but they have Merle to watch for, who already tried to kill Glenn twice. Who knows if Maggie is pregnant(probably), Hershel is legless, and Michonne doesn't talk much :P. Overall, right now it's Rick's ricktatorship, and he's not doing well at it.
no not glenn, he lives so much longer in the comics!!!!!!
No. Tyresse and Sacha were saved by the group at the prison, they would have likely died without Carls help. Like merle says in episode 3, who hasnt had a gun pointed at them lately? you cant just trust everyone or else you will end up paying for it later.
Morgan chose to stay behind, Rick tried to get him to join the group, but he refused several times. Although I really want Morgan to join the group, its Morgans choice not Ricks.
He wont give Michonne to the governor. He is considering it but told the group we are going to war. And he will act on that.
I do agree that they should have saved the guy on the side of the road, but with Ricks sanity, he is still a better leader than anyone else could be.
But yes, they really need to bring in a little girl to protect.
Beth. Her name is Beth.
Thanks, sorry she doesn't appear much, so I tend to forget it.
