New game feature for Season 2...PLEASE!!!

edited March 2013 in The Walking Dead
To anyone from Telltale and any fan reading,

I have thought of a feature that MUST be included in the new season of the Walking Dead game. The game is so engaging I had a room full of my friends watching me play for an entire afternoon. and after finishing 3 chapters we as a collective agreed that the next season must include a new feature. One where a group of up to 4 players could vote on the dialogue choices that appear on screen.

I play on x-box and such a feature could be attained by using multiple controllers or by using the quiz buzzer controllers that are available. That could make the game even more addictive than it already is.

We all agreed that as intense as the comic and the television show is this game surpasses them both. I believe it lies in the games ability to put the player in the middle of it all. Much of the fun of the Walking Dead is the questions it raises. How would I respond in that situation and so on. But in the game, it gives you a better idea of the choices you would make. As such it opens so many avenues of discussion.

By including this new feature I feel Telltales next installment could easily become my new favorite way to experience the zombie apocalypse from the comfort of my own home. :-)

Thoughts anyone?

That sounds like something interesting, but how would that go down if there were 4 options to choose, and each of the players would choose something different, thus resulting in a draw?

    yeah no

Does that mean there would be 4 PCs also?

Sounds interesting to see where that goes, but probably shouldn't be worked on until after the game is done if this were to be considered.

I don't like that idea. TWD is supposed to be your story and your choices. Voting on a choice takes your control away.

A better take on this however would be a mode were your friends control other people's choices. That way everyone is making there own choices. Maybe one character's opinions hold more weight in the group? If the two players are at a disagreement the non player controlled characters may go with the one they trust more?

It's one thing to have an disagreement, but controlling the other person's decisions is different. It ruins the point of the game.

i dont see the point. 4 people playing one character in one game fighting what choose that character should make? Why does not everybody play it on their own and pick what ever they choose?

Dont get me wrong i understand it's the company and i will enjoy it also. But a feature like this... Just get everybody their own copy.

Or just have everyone in the room verbally vote for what the person with the controller should do, while the story is going on. Keep the intensity up, no need for modified coding!
