small question about the second episode

Well I just got to the part where you have to choose to either try to save Larry or freaking brick his face...
well I chose to brick because I got very nervous and didn't know what to do and the time was about to end.....

and now I kind of regret it, I hated that guy because he was an a** but I liked him since he was an interesting character overall and now I made my relations with his daughter worse than before...(always sided with Kenny)

I know I will probably redo the every episode once I finish it all the 1st time...
but I just wanna know what would've happened if I helped Lilly...
would he have survived?

    No. If you try and save Larry,
    he still dies, and Kenny gets mad at you for not helping him kill Larry.

    oh ok thx, and does clementine still gets shocked from what she saw after that?

    yes, but she's slightly less shocked because you didn't help Kenny.
