First playthrough, I didn't know it existed, second playthrough I accidentally drank it, and saw no difference. So no, I don't think so. I thinks its more of an immersion things, so he doesnt just stare at it and talk to himself.

Yes. It turns Lee into the Incredible Hulk.

It's one HELL of an Easter egg, let me tell ya.

    Well enough sarcasm >.>

I drank it in my first playthrough, but I don't know why they would put it there...

If you recall, after Lee wakes up from the car crash, he looks to see that he is still cuffed and says "Thirsty". The way I see it, drinking the cup of water is an optional thing to do to satisfy Lee's thirst while looking for help inside the house.

They put it there because Lee was thirsty, and he wanted something to drink. He speaks of this when he wakes up in the police car, if you were listening. The water was put there for players who were serious adventure gamers, thinking getting water would be important. I thought he would die otherwise. I think the purpose of the cup of water, just as giving food to certain people, was simply to apply the purpose of point-and-click adventure games without involving the risks. That's my opinion, anyway.

I think he means from a gameplay perspective.

I drank the water and didn't notice any game effects like "Lee thinks you're awesome!" then Lee promptly slipped, fell and hit his head. The water was no help I think.:D

That's nothing, there's also a forth item Clementine can hit the stranger with. If you pan the camera WAY to the left you'll find a carpace... capace... caprace...whatever, it looks like a tall coffee pot or something.

You can also find Larry's wife's wedding ring in his left hip pocket. In episode three if you use the look option on Carley after talking to her you can have Lee make googly eyes at her, which she seems to like. If you use look on Omid while he's in the train with Kenny you get a short scene of him trying to fiddle with the controls while Kenny tells him to knock it off.

There's tons of cool little shit hidden in The Walking Dead game. :D
