Poker Night at the Inventory won't run

I try to launch Poker Night at the Inventory on Steam. It says it needs to update, installs the Microsoft VC Redist package, and then the little light around my avatar in the corner turns green, waits a couple of seconds and then goes back to blue.

Could someone help me?

    I had this same issue.

    Suprinsigly, unplugging any usb controllers solved this issue (xbox, logitech, ps3. . .)
