Made up tough choice!

Alright people, what would you do in this hypothetical tough choice?

Clementine's been bitten on her left hand! Lee was there for her and the walker that got her is now dead. You have got to her quick enough that you can save her life....if you make a tough choice to amputate fast enough that the bite won't infect her blood. Assume that amputation will be successful, she'll survive the procedure and she'll be non-infected afterwards. Lee has his fire axe, one good swing will do the job.
Clementine wants to live. She's being brave, but if you talk to her about cutting off her arm, she is not brave enough to be able to say if she wants you to "Do it" or "Leave it" either way, if asked she'll just shake and stammer nervously. Lee must decide for her while she's paralysed with fear and before its too late to make the choice.

You have 20 seconds to decide
A) You need to be brave for this hunnie. It'll be over in a moment [Amputate Clem's arm]
B) I'm sorry Clementine....I....I can't do anything for you sweet pea [Hug Clem]
C) I'm sorry Clementine....I....I have to put you out of this misery...[Shoot Clem]
D) ...

I laughed at option D xD Real useful!

If this was in the game...I'd cut off her arm no question. It's her only chance of survival, shooting her would be silly at that stage unless she was about to turn, and hugging her ain't going to do much either. Imagine how distressed she'd be about turning into a walker if you just left it! My choice would be cut it off.

Take a deep breath, man up, press button for choice [A] and scream out "FUCK", then lean back in the couch and see what happens. No way I'd let her turn, I don't wanna cut off her sweet little hand, but I won't just hug her and say "I can't do anything for you sweet pea." What good is the hand to her, if she dies within the next... days... if she's lucky? And shooting her is stupid at that point. If she hates me for that, fine.
Quote from Glenn (from the show): "I'd rather have you hating me alive, than liking me and dead." I made some decisions thinking of those, wise words, like for example
Taking the food from the station wagon

Of those options I would cut her arm but given free reign I would probably try and find away for her to pass out and do it whilst she is out of it so she feels less pain...

Chopping her arm off is a pretty dope way to make her pass out. She wouldn't even feel it from shock in those few moments before passing out.

If she was bitten within less than 60 seconds, I'd take the chance to amputate her arm to keep her alive. But if its been too long since she was bitten, then... well, I don't know.

Geez now i know how Kenny felt,(a) for sure!!!! (C) would never happen, imagine it? Lee saying to Clem i have to put you out of your misery LMAO How about (e) Lee finds antidote injects in Clems arm, shes fine within 5 minutes, they go back to Savanah and with just enough antIdote left they find Clem Parents and quarantine them while giving them the last of the antidote, they recover and the 4 of them go back to Clems house to celebrate.:D

    I CHOOSE (e)!!!! :D

Perhaps I made it too easy by saying she was sure to live in option A. I thought there'd be a lot of people say they just couldn't bring themselves to swing the axe and would rather let her go a bit more peacefully (especially as knowing this game it would make you swing the axe yourself and not let you get away with it being a cutscene). But I'm not surprised everyone wants to keep her alive at all costs, I'd choose A too.
It would be a much tougher choice if a little time had passed, enough that it was uncertain if A would even 'cure' her, if there was a chance it would just put her through that and she'd remain infected anyway.

Amputate her arm. I won't even think twice, but I'd rather them not show the scene where Lee chopped her arm off, a nice panning of the camera would do just nicely.

Amputation isn't a pleasant idea, but it's the obvious choice if there's still any chance of stopping the infection.

I'd amputate her arm immediately. The only reason I kept Lee's arm in Episode 5 was because ti had already been too long after the bite.

Clementine's been bitten on her left hand!

Well that's terrible. If it had been her right hand we could have made it into an Evil Dead II shout out! Best we can hope for now is a passing reference to Captain Hook or something.

This is actually a REALLY tough decision. If it was anyone else, I'd leave them, whether the amputation would be successful or not. After what happened to Lee, I just want people dying in season 2 with ALL of their limbs intact.

I guess this would have to be a choice that I'd actually have to experience in the game to make a decision.

Why? At worst they would futilely go through the pain of dismemberment before being shot a few minutes later, but at best they could be fully cured minus a limb.

It was false hope with Lee, but I don't think the option should be disregarded entirely. Then again I don't really see that type of choice being presented to us in the same way come season 2. Maybe a matter of convincing someone who was against losing their hand? That would certainly be awkward...
