Walking Dead-problem for left handed people

Just bought the new Walking Dead today.
A left handed person holds the mouse in his left hand and uses the right side of the keyboard.
In Walking Dead one must hit q or e some fight situations therefor a left handed person has to take his hand off the mouse and mash the keys that way.
Their is no way to reconfigure the control settings.
Why did the programmers set it up this way? It ignores a huge number of people.
Aside from the expected inane remarks i'd be most grateful for any help in this regard and implore programmers to not summarly dismiss 20% of it's market.
Thanks

I played the entire series with a broken arm. I could literally not re-position my left hand to hit Q and E.

    Verdict?
The QTEs are supposed to make you feel anxious and uncomfortable. Having to drop the mouse made me more on edge than the Mario Party'esque tapping ever would.

Well to their defense, there is keyboards made for left handed too.

Also as an left handed, wouldn't you use your right hand anyway to press the keys in games with mouse + keyboard requirement. It is not like right handed people need to left of their mouse to press the keys either (unless you really want to spam them.)

You're talking about The Walking dead not a regular video game

I'm left-handed myself, but I played on Xbox, so I never had this problem.

game controls should be customisable, it is a fundamental PC rule, that is one thing that should be changed for the next game

Q and E are also bound to the left and right mouse buttons respectively. You can use those no problem.

Do left handed people use the mouse in their left hand? I'm left-handed and have always used mouse in my right hand. Have never noticed anyone to use their left hand on a mouse.
Is this really a big problem? Think of all the games that use w,a,s,d movement, are left handers excluded from these games? I've never heard of someone being unable to use the keys on their keyboard because they were left-handed before, sounds a bit far-fetched.

I'm this way as well, i write with my left hand but i do pretty much everything else with my right(does this make me right handed?).

Regardless, i think that redefining the key bindings should be mandatory for any and every PC game(as well as manual saving).

I've never known someone to use their left hand on the mouse. I'm left handed and I use my right hand. Regardless, as someone said, there are almost always a left and right handed version of an 'object' so finding a keyboard for you shouldn't be difficult. I agree however that they should've included a way to change the controls.

I'm left handed but still use the mouse with my right hand.

Yeah, season 2 should have re-mappable keys. I don't think a majority of players would do it but one of my keys broke the night episode 4's release and I had to download an program online to make a custom keyboard map for my computer just to play the game and not fail the quicktime events.

While I agree that the buttons should be remappable anyway, why not just move your keyboard so your right hand fits comfortably over the default buttons?

I am sure these problems will be fixed in season 2, I once read somewhere that Telltale promised that Season 2 will have less bugs and the infamous save glitch is not going to be there.
