you mean saved data from season 1? Why wouldn't we?

It seems better if the game start from a equal point for everyone.
Otherwise Lee is dead. So past decisions is not important.

As far as we know, season 2 may use our season 1 save files.

What about the decisions that Lee told Clem at the end of season 1? Won't those matter?

    it feels bad ..

So let me get this straight, you don't want season 1 save files to be transported onto season 2 , but you also don't want generated options either? Because that's the only option for people who didn't play season 1 or are planning to play season 2 on a different console/device (unless you want a fresh start.)

past decisions are important. clem will remember what lee told her duh

this dude should not play this game. if clem dont remember what you told her in season 1 it would be dumb, easy to understand

It would depend on whether or not Clem, Christa and Omid are in season 2. Choices made in season one could effect how they react to situations presented in season 2.

Maybe if you didn't play Season 1, or played it on a different platform, the game will automatically select the most popular choices and start you from that point.

I, for one, would like it to use my save data, so the impact I personally had on the current characters still exists. That way, I could play through Season 1 again and make different choices to see what kind of different effects those choices made on the second season.

If you don't import, they will more then likely do what Mass effect did, the most popular choices will be the standard.
