Is this a bug, or am I playing wrong?

I don't know much about Omaha, but unless some cards on the table get tossed out, I've been cheated out of a few good hands/tournaments.

In the first picture, there were two spades on the table, and since you can only use two of your hole cards, you couldn't have gotten a flush because that's only 4 out 5 cards you need.

A similar case for the second screen shot - 4 out of the 5 cards you need for a straight were on the table when you could only use 3 of them. The guy in the comments on that picture is helpful too.

To put it succinctly: in Omaha you have to use exactly two of your hole cards. No more, no less. I find it makes Omaha a rather difficult game to play, and I never had much fun playing Omaha in my days as a semi-pro poker player. And this is coming from a guy who loves to dabble in poker variants such as 7-card stud hi-lo split and deuce-to-seven triple draw.

Could someone tell me if I shoulda won this hand with a straight? I feel like I should've with the 5 in my hand, but the game ignored it for an ace high and I lost a really high bet because of it.

EDIT:Oh I see. Only 3 of the cards in the middle count, not all 5. Nevermind

I love playing Omaha. Way more interesting than TH which I played enough of this month in the first game.

I know what you mean. Hold em feels really stale in comparison now.

I really like the panic you get during a showdown with 2 or more players. Suddenly there are 8 new cards and you have to think quick: what do they have / need, what will save me.
