Why no love for Android?

So, I've heard that one of the main issues with porting TWD to Android is the massive diversity of devices and by extension the hardware specifications and so on, and apparrently there's an issue with piracy though that's just as much a problem on PC, too, but couldn't these be worked around? Sure, it'd take time to test and make sure it'd work with devices owned by the majority of Android users but it'd be worth it, if you think of things. After all, Android devices have a huge customer base since they're cheaper and usually better than Apple products.

    They'll probably release it on the Android a few months before season 2 releases, at least, I hope they do. :/

    Maybe you'll be able to convince them to port it to Ouya, since there's at least a standard of specifications for that, but you're likely out of luck when it comes to Android phones and tablets.
