Was larry dead

I helped kill him but i heard if you tried to save him he starts breathing again. Is this him coming back as a walker, the last breath of him dying or did they start to save him

    Old news, but it's pretty obvious that the CPR was working, since he only stirs if you attempt it.

    It's subjective, on one hand he was revived and then murdered, on the other hand he was reanimating into a walker and was killed at just the right time, it's all option as to what is true or not.

    It's impossible to say whether he was officially dead by the time his head was smashed. But it isn't very likely that the CPR would have revived him. They make it seem otherwise on TV, but CPR rarely saves a life on its own. It can't restart the heart if it has stopped, but it can keep the blood circulating long enough for medical personnel to arrive and take over (which obviously wasn't going to happen). I am pretty sure he was dead (or dying) and not coming back, but I still chose to try CPR to at least tell Lilly we tried everything we could (shocked the hell out of me when I was focused on the CPR when suddenly his head gets splattered).

    In my opinion he was dead and Kenny did the right thing but it's all very subjective as we will never know.

    I thought he was dead when I first played, so I helped Kenny. I don't think what Kenny did was "right", exactly, so much as it was necessary. I helped do what needed to be done to survive, nothing more.

    I would say yes. He had a heart attack in a shitty little room with no medical support. I tried to revive him for Lilly's sake (only for Kenny to butt in with his brick) but I would definitely say he was already dead and on the turn.

    Yep, he only shows signs of breathing again if you help him, but Kenny's bloodlust had to be satiated.
